  • is there any real free vsti with real piano sound and reverb?

all mine are limited .. they have no real wibe to them

  • HHAHAHAH SHITTY :D

  • CUBASE FTW!

  • shit sounds :-))

  • thisone is ballz

  • Cool down men! This sounds like ring-modulated sound and it might be cause of deep video and sound compression ( poor quality video or/and recorded with cheap camera microphone).

I'll try this soft synth. I can recomand polykeys soft-synth with 3-oscillators, echo, reverb, chorus and overdrive! Close to MiniMoog sound! :)

  • Hey Guys,

Does somebody of you got a Mini Moog, or listened to it?

This sounds more like a Casiotone circuit bent.

Definitely, it doesn't even reminds by far the sound of M Moog.

Is not about to put the first Synthedit modules at hand and copy the block diagram. It needs (and deserves) a lot more of work...

If not, it looks like kind of a joke.

And as a joke I suggest a new name: FreeBoog (Free Bug)

    Peace.

  • This is a pretty versatile VST, but if you want a more Moog-ish sound, go with the MiniMogue. It think it sounds better, personally.

  • omg -.-

  • This shit is an insult to the creator of the Moog synths! Electric chair for those who put the name "Moog" in these( and others) litters like this!!! You want the real sound of the Moog on your PC? -----------ARTURIA IS THE ANSWER---------- (the rest is rest!!!)

  • Very much like the SID chip!

My Commodore machines are integral to my home recording studio. Click my name to discover my Commodore 64 synth samples and videos. Or view my other page, THEDUSTPILE, to hear some great chiptunes on my videos.

Or visit dustybin org uk for mountains of Commodore 64 music software and other goodies I have collected and linked-to, including VSTi.

  • Definitely wrong sound - record again to show the masses, I have this on my Muse receptor very happy with it, but its a bit of CPU hog !

  • something wrong with the sound here cos I know this synth and it sounds good.

  • another great demo that shows this seemingly simpler synth has more personality than the arp 2600 sim.

why no one else seems to have figured out that the most interesting featurew of any synth is the VARIETY of sounds it can produce eludes me. compared to this, most demos i've heard are crappy with just a few even crappier BLAND sounds

i like it when a demo gets to the freakin' point like uproar24's do!

  • i like them both although they sound a bit harsh in my video's, i would recomend them both to anyone wholikes to use vst instruments.

  • I already tested the Freemoog. In my opinion the MinimogueVA (also freeware) sounds better. What do you think?

  • Do you use MinimogueVA? In that case, I'd like to ask you a question. For some unknown reason, MMVA doesn't always play the notes I want it to, especially 1/16 notes. Have you experienced also this problem? It's a pity, because it sounds awesome.

  • Since version 2.0 the minimogue VA has 5-voice polyphony (which is better than an original Minimoog but still not much if you play fast sequences with sounds that have a longer release time). Since version 2.1 "Hanging gate is fixed" and the update info on version 2.2says "Missing notes fixed".
