Metal usually gets associated with screamo because it's so awesome.

Listen to rock. Mostly has some screamy bits in to it too. If you listen to the kind that I'm thinking about, and not the pop-rock kind.

Metal usually has a lot more drums, and has some other stuff in it than the basic rhytm. And there are usually the high-pitched electric guitars. Instead of the bass-like guitars.

Not that I'm a pro at these things.
