hey, i was in the recreation center with my class, becuz thats where we go for gym, and there was construction going on, and a white powder kept on falling nto the middle of the room, Im afraid it was asbestos, and i dont even want to touch the clothes i wore that day, cuz im afraid theres asbestos on my clothes, can u guys help me figure out if it was abestos, so i can stop being scared to even touch some of my clothes.
The white asbestos, which has been mainly used, isn't nearly as bad as the blue asbestos. Also getting a disease from asbestos is a numbers game - the more you are exposed to it, the greater your chance of getting an asbestos related disease... So you won't get sick just from being exposed to it once or twice.
Also, white fiberous is found in talc. talc is used in talcum powder. but talcum powder seals it inside, or, ...err... well im not sure if that's bad or not.
@FarceTheory ALL asbestos, (white only recently) has been banned. And, yes in fact not to sound like a smart arse, I have been researching Asbestos, Talc, Talcum, Chlorine(*most forms), Chloroform, CO2, KO8, Sulphur, Nickel Cadmium and fluorite.

@JCX96NICE trow your clothes away! and calm down, you are not the only one. Long exposures are dangerous

Additional Note! All Asbestos is outlawed in Europe. Only brown Asbestos is illegal in the US. So take a deep breath because you just inhaled it.
