There's actually a much bigger difference between shounen-ai and yaoi than the content. Shounen-ai typically has an actual plot line, with developing characters, conflicts, romances, friendships, enemies, adventures, etc. Yaoi is simply this - pornography in the form of manga. Try and keep that in mind.

ur welcome to your opinion, but as far as I'm concerned the difference is that one has sex scenes and the other doesn't. This isn't yaoi, but I use to refer to shonen-ai as "softer yaoi" back when I put this video up. I've scene some yaoi thats str8 porn, but I've also scene a lot that isn't. Fake is yaoi, but the first 6 volumes or w/e are all shonen-ai building up to the final volume which has the sex scene it it. It's fine if you don't like yaoi, but you don't have to make generalizations.

lol, same here, but I still like the story so I got over it. The only reference to drugs are on the pictures when they switch ch's. They say Legal Drug # (1,2,3, or whatever ch) and then may casue deaht, may be lethal if taken daily, somthing like that.
