All 3 girls were wild cards for sure. No offense but it seems they were picked to be politically correct. None of them were good, not even for karaoke. There is no way they could sing Freddie. If I'm gonna pay money to see a tribute band, it better not deviate too much from the original. Why would I pay an unknown to do their own rendition of classics... seriously. The chicks should have never moved though.

After the Queen Extravaganza contest ends, I never, ever, EVER want to hear "Somebody to Love" ever again. It's been butchered by so many people that I cringe every time I hear it. Alas, it is partly my fault, as I've listened to Marc Martel perform it so many times, on the QE, Ellen, and live, that the song brings tears of blood to my eyes. Yes, he ruined the song for me, albeit in a good way. The other contestants, not so much. Can't wait for second rounds in Nov. New song. No more SOTL.

Wish I could of been of been a clip in this promotion. How neat for those chosen!!! I do hope the final people chosen aren't just chosen for "looks". Freddie and Queen members have a spirit that make you fall in love with them and their music. So hard to duplicate. This is such an awesome opportunity for all Queen fans.

Dear Roger: You should consider finding a large space for the finals, and offering each person who audition an opportunity to attend. ( If you are really generous, an additional ticket to invite their friend). This would absolutely make their day even if they did not make it past the first round! You would, of course, have many more contestants for the Queen Extravaganza and many more tapes to review.
