  • OMG :O

  • ok i just bought fabfilter and im so in love :) its worth all the money i paid for it. but i have a question, lets say i want to use fabfilter for years to come ( and other programs as well ) will technology and evelotion of computers and softwares make that a little hard on me, or will this be a forever product??? stupit question but i always wounder! ty!

  • @dubmonkeyaudio we'll as long as you have the same computer it will work forever?

  • @DOSAGEDUBZ but computers dont last forever :\ thats one of the reasons i dont buy much software. i bought ableton, fabfilters bundel and a few more. but im always scared of buying lol

  • @dubmonkeyaudio i guess it would always be a good idea to create a backup of all your softsynts on an external drive incase your computer is broken/stolen

  • @DOSAGEDUBZ Well i do that and to be honest i am a totally backup freak lol to me that is not what im scared of, for an example i am a user of the well knows DAW, Ableton live. i have used it for 2 years now and i am scared that future technolagy will not work in my favoure in the future and make me change it for something else and all i have learned will mostly go down water ( DAW wise )

  • @dubmonkeyaudio What's the problem? You can always just ask the developer for more license if you buy a new computer. As long as the developer still in business the plugin will be future proof, just like life, nothing last forever

  • @Camido2003 your right! i just worry too much about these types of things.

  • beautiful synth!

  • Awesometutorial! I am really falling in love w/ this synth!!!! I've had it and just started using it! WOW

  • The intro reminds me of the bad ass score for Split/Second!! XD

    FABFILTER!!! :D

  • so to make a a pluck you have to put a sustained chord and use the xlfo??? :( I tried using just the Freq osc but it doesnt sound "plucky". Help someone?

  • Dan Worrall.. you create the most AMAZING instructional videos on the internet.

  • WOW

  • Wow just wow

  • thank you this helps a lot, this synth is such a steal for 25 bucks...its much more than an app

i just got my keystudio with logic pro se and bought this, im finally on my way to making some music

  • Marry me FabFilter !

  • awesome. this filter is wellllllllllll goooooooooood

  • does anyone know what type of synthesizer the Twin2 is?

    Subtractive?

  • @luckyjrs what he did there was subtractive.

  • @luckyjrs Yes, subtractive: the quality of the filters is a major selling point. However, it will also do PWM, ring modulation, oscillator sync etc. so "Virtual Analogue" might be a better description.

  • fabfilter is fucking amazing

  • @pyroghost11 yes fabfilter is amazing, but this dude makes making awesome sounds seem like child play.

  • and how can u save your work in fabfilter?

  • Which are thoose programs which go with fabfilter2? just Logic Pro?

  • @ClubTrance88 no. Any DAW. It's a plugin.

  • @torment3d thanks

  • really good video.appreciate the time!

  • The lead sound is perfect! :D

Where can I find your music?

  • @mikamulperi Thanks! Don't get much time for my own music these days. Check the soundcloud link in my profile... :)

  • @mikamulperi where can i find yours.....i mean the ones still in your head........what i say is that if you let yourself go , you can ctreate it !!!! ....do it!!!! , make the music you like , if you dont do it yet and youwould like to , i can help you get all the software .....if prefered ..FREE. soon as you make money with it pay me...nahh joke ...than pay for the software ...i made money with 2 tracks , the beats for dutch rappers , .....type ...ogen open , by opgezwolle , that beat is mine..

  • @euphoritch ... I did not understand what you just said. :D

  • @mikamulperi just some stoned vision of you makin good music , what i mean is .....where can ifind your music?, cuz you liked it , it might be possible you make the music you like yourself!!, its all in your brain and mind , what you like is mostly somethinf wich you brains recognise as familiar , and pleasant, wich says the sound or the creatiob is there already ...i am dutch find it hard to explain it correctly but i try ...everything you like is a part of yourself in music , a piece of you

  • @euphoritch :D You are a real old wise youtube man. But I see what you mean. I know what I like, and yes I do my own music - which I also like :D

But I still need to explore other peoples music too, because often that's where I find inspiration. And how can you like anything or any kind of music if you have never heard anything? On the other hand, there's SO much music, different kinds of music, and new music that you want to hear to see if that's your thing.

    Hope this makes sense...

  • great! fabfilter is super!

  • Thank you for theory of synthesis! It help me to increase the efficiency of my Twin 2!

  • That's a good idea to have one osc syncing and the other running free

  • very cool :) the level of modulation reminds me of NI Massive...but is much more intuitive in Twin 2!
