  • I don't know if you put the tach. on the dash for looks but they do fit nicely attached to the left side of the steering column. That way they are not an obstruction while driving and look much better in my opinion.

  • @DTOMUSA74 I didn't put it on the steering column because I don't want it in the way of any of the gauges in particular my gas gauge. It also doesn't block my view at all.

  • @ndubb1 I knew you'd say something like that. Well, I have the same size tachometer on my column and if you position it right it will not block any gauges. Tachs get mounted on columns all the time. You should be able to mount positioned out of the line of sight of the steering wheel and gas gauge. You should be able to look right down at it fine unless you are under 5ft. tall and stare staight at the steering wheel. Anyway, it was just a suggestion.

  • @DTOMUSA74 Yea I'm not turning down your suggestion it's a good opinion and I thank you for sharing it. I just don't really have a good way of mounting it on my steering column and while driving it's very easy to just look a little to the right without looking completely away from the road and see what the rpm's are.
