It sounds to me like you just need to create a networked device outq for your network printer. A network outq isn't as easy to work with as a true device outq, but it will still allow everyone connected to your AS400 (even through network emulation) to print to that device. This should allow everyone on your network who is logged in through emulation to print to that printer, and the main operator console to deal with the messages.
Is there anyway to write a macro with this program to make it input a user name and password so that i can use a windows based pc with as400 and a forms printer emulated through it for the network, to print invoices. THe problem im having is i dont want a monitor at my invoice printer because its in my warehouse, and it will need to sign into the server so the rest of the network can print invoices to it.
Ive tried several times, but seems auto login is out of reach!!!!
