I don't see how people on youtube know anything about Jordan, Kobe, or Lebron's drive. If you don't know these men personally then you're just making subjective, opinionated statements based on media outlets "reporting" and twitter feeds.
comparision and being equal to MJ is totally different. Kobe could never win 6 championships with no big man. No one will ever do that again. Low post scoring is a must to win. Even before MJ that was the case. MJ never had low post scoring. Rodman rebounded for 3 titles and never scored more than 5 ppg. Jordan is the greatest of all time.
kobe is a joke. He even copies Jordan championship celebrations. I agree with MJ..kobe is the only u can compare with these days as far as "drive" is concerned. Kobe does not have anywhere near NJ's drive. MJ did not say they were equal @ihofaerefa
have u ever seen a grown man treat a championship in his sport like the birth of a newborn child? This is Jordan holding his new born child. THe desire , passion ...look at how much wining meant to the best basketball player that ever lived
Nobody ever brings up the fact that lebron idolizes jordan and that he was his biggest influence. yall just rip on him when he emulates Jordan because you think he thinks he is Jordan. He just wants to be the best ever, and that's something everyone should want no matter what you do
@onceNawhile lebron? lebron doesn't want to be the best ever...nobody ever talks baout how he works harder than anybody-that's kobe who works the hardest. Lebron has NO killer instinct and really doesn't care about winning (which is fine bc lebron is still a great player) MJ just said a few weeks ago that only kobe deserves the comparison to him
Greatness!! To be motivated year after year, achievement after achievement is really not natural. The natural programing of people is to become comfortable.
In 1991 it wasnt about twitter or being on some blog. This is not for show. Jordan is isolated from his teammates holding this trophy with more love and emotion than most people hold there first born child. Im not sure winning has meant more to anyone more than it meant to Jordan. He never showed weakness.
If Lebron were to win it would be as annoying as watching kim kardashian's wedding. All the fake crying, yes FAKE, crying and cheesy sayings. I don't think Lebron has an original bone in his body. He would just copy Jordan like he always does, i.e. pregame baby powder routine.
For Lebron going to the heat championships are secondary. If he stayed in Cleveland they still would have been the best team in basketball and he still would have had a good shot winning there. But he couldn't handle the pressure so he went to Miami. In Miami not only is it sunny, but he could expand his brand, and he wouldn't have to deal with all the pressure. I think Lebron deep down in his heart is more interested that his brand is #1, his team comes second. All bout that papahhhh.
He won this after everything he went through. After he asked for a trade, after he questioned Phil Jackson, after everyone said he was a fake superstar, after everyone said he wasn't a team player, after everyone told him he was a ball hog and never passed. MJ never listened, he just won. Plain and simple.
No one in the game right now wants to win more than Lebron. He has had his mental lapses but people don't realize how tough it is to be in his shoes. Even Jordan didn't go through what Lebron is going through with the pressure and what not to win a title. If Lebron wanted to be a hero he would have stayed in cleveland as the "man". Instead he took less money and joined an elite TEAM to chase his dream of winning a championship. Isn't that what we want out of an athlete? man people are backwards.
people are nuts to say people won't feel this way for James when he wins. Do u know how groundbreaking Lebron's first title will be? LeBron is the most polarizing athlete perhaps in the history of sports.Lets not act like LeBron is some criminal because he went to Miami. @useurcamera yeah that's because no one went through what Jordan did to get to that title.Losing to Detroit 3 straight times in the Playoffs,So Emotional,So Physical. He worked so hard to achieve his goal.Lebron try to take the shortcut. It doesn't work that way
Being loyal to your team makes winning the championship even more special. This is why Dirk became emotional after the game. That's something LeBron can't say now even if he does win some.
This gave me goosebumps.....it's crazy cuz I was born in 1991. Despite how young I am.....I still KNOW that Michael Jordan is the GREATEST OF ALL TIME!!!!!
@LuigiTheSlasherFan Your half way there. Michael jordan is the greatest athlete to ever play professional sports . The heart, the passion, the skill, the desire, the ability to lead and improve and adapt will never be matched in any sport in any country again.
This emotional catharsis Jordan displayed is the result of putting the team on your back for seven grueling years and finally overcoming the Pistons, Celtics, and Lakers after years of defeat. This moment is something Lebron James will never understand.
@hemymariobro even though i am a heat fan i have to agree with you on some sort. I think they will win a ring but i dont think they really have any emotional ties at all. To them idk if they really truly understand how much stuff u must do to win a championship. MJ Knew what he had to do HE did it it paid off. Lebron wade and bosh have to just suck it up quit bitching stop worrying and just play and have a heart when they do. Im sick of watching that team play with no emotion.
There will NEVER be another!!!!!!!! Being born in 77, I was privileged enough to watch Jordan in his prime (mid 80s-mid90s). The slam dunk contest, the sneakers, Mars Blackmon commercials, flight t shirts, the wheatie box covers and the posters inside. Some of the best memories of my life...
I never saw this era since I was born in '93. But I get this moment like Jordan was my brother.
He's crying because of everything paid off. All the hits he took, all the years he spent in the gym just shooting for hours, all of the opponents that gave him their all. Michael Jordan makes me proud to be an American. I hope for a future where I get the motivation to be as dedicated as he was at basketball. You're the G.O.A.T Jordan!!!!!!!!
Who cares about Kobe and Lebron...Jordan is greater than both of them put together. Gimme a prime Jordan over anybody anyday...hell I'll even take the Michael Jordan who played for the white sox over any anyone anyday...thats how great he was. MJ G.O.A.T.
@xXxThatStarxXx jordan is better at having a better team.heres a stat for you.do you know that lebron has a higher percentage than kobe at shooting the ball within 24 seconds while the game is within 3.so are you saying kobe is a choker too? lmao.u dont know basketball for shit
@3wademiami They actually showed official game winner stats between Lebron, Wade, and Kobe. Wade FG - 5/43 (11.6%) 3 Point FG - 2/17 (11.8%) Free Throws - 10/12 (83.3%) Total Points - 22 LeBron FG - 9/41 (22.0%) 3 Point FG - 1/21 (4.85%) Free Throws - 12/15 (80.0%) Total Points - 31 Kobe FG - 13/37 (35.1%) 3 Point FG - 4/16 (25%) Free Throws - 7/11 (63.6%) Total Points - 37 The scenario is: Since 06-07, Last 10 Seconds of 4th Quarter / Overtime, Tied or Down 1-3 That's not counting shaq era
@swingingfordearlife Where is this stat at? It's all wrong.Google"the truth about kobe bryant"..it's on espn and they have all the players stats in crunch time.and kobe is nowhere near close to the top.lmao
@3wademiami They were on NBAtv, and they're not wrong, the criteria is just different. That's why you gotta be careful with stats and how you throw them around because while they are telling to a certain degree, they can also be manipulated and shown in specific criteria.
@swingingfordearlife I actually have proof.I doubt yours is right since they were on t.v. for god knows how long ago and you remember all those numbers from the top of your head?lmao.you're not fooling anyone.
@3wademiami Well it was fairly recent. I do not memorize stats, no. But I'm not trying to fool anyone, and it really isn't that big of a deal.. It's just it seems there'd be a reason for so many people picking Kobe to be their guy for a game winner, I mean he does have the most in NBA history. If Lebron or Wade ever pass him, then that's totally impressive and it's not like it'd bother me.
@swingingfordearlife Did you google what i said to google? he hit the most because he took the most.kobe is 36-115..lebron is 23-69..thats hell lot better percentage than kobe.kobe is just a ball hog
@3wademiami Yes I did. Well sure, he's been in the league more than twice as long. For all we know, in 6 more years Lebron could be 30-120. It also depends on the criteria as I said. What I should you was game winners in regulation/overtime with 10 seconds left. You were talking about shots made with 24 seconds left in the game, correct?
@swingingfordearlife In 6 more years i would doubt that he would take shots at the end of the game since he is on the heat and it is going to be rare for it to be close games because the heat is getting better and better as a team as you can tell by todays game from the 1st game they played when they didn't know each others tendencies. And you think he is going to be 7-50 the next 6 years for shots in close games? Now i know i'm talking to a hater for a fact.
@3wademiami Who knows, that's what I'm saying.. I'm not being a hater, I'm just saying that it's tough to tell and it could always happen. You are very on edge haha, I'm not a hater xP I'm just saying it's random and who knows when a player might go through a dry spell
@3wademiami You're comparing the career of someone who's been in the league 15 years to someone who's been in it for 6-7 years, it's all estimation as to how the rest of Lebron's career will play out and compare to MJ, Kobe etc. As for now, he hasn't made nor attempted as many game winners as either, thus my saying I don't know how it will compare later on. If you wanna label that as me losing an argument then that's fine
@swingingfordearlife lol.Look at you.Kobe is 13 years and LeBron is 8.You really don't know basketball. And These are the best players in the league.not no bum bench players.Every NBA fan knows this. Not you though.Just because you saw a 15 second highlight doesn't mean you know it all.Still LeBron's percentage is better than Kobe.ESPN exposed Kobe.Numbers don't lie.
@3wademiami Kobe came into the league at 17 and he is now 32.. and Lebron came into the league in 2004? I'm not sure what you mean. I never said numbers lied, I just said the criteria can be altered and changed to make certain players look better than others. You should act a little more mature and argue properly and quit with the fallacies.
@swingingfordearlife LeBron came in the league in 2003 and he was 18 just like Kobe.Kobe was 18 when it was time for the season. The off season was he was 17.Just like LeBron.Kobe is 13 years pro and LeBron is 8 years pro.Your argument is pure ignorance bringing up all false numbers while i have to provide you with the real ones.lmao.You're not a fan of basketball.Just a hater of LeBron.Just stay doing what you do trying to look like Justin Beiber but please don't try to think you know basketball
@3wademiami Oh you're right, I was off by a year on both. Thinking high school, my bad. Honestly though, Lebron is an amazing player, and I'm not a hater. I just don't follow stats much because of the reasons I stated. And I can't flip my hair like the Bieber, but I will practice xD
@3wademiami you're derp lebron isnt 8 years you douche he's 7 he has played a full 7 years of ball including playoffs this is his 8th year... a full year of basketball should count the playoffs too which arent over so he has played 7 years until the heat either lose or win the finals (or before that) lebron has only played 7 years and of course lbjs % is better kobes the one taking all the shots in LA hes bound to miss a lot where as lebron had 2 other stars to pass too so he doesnt need to
@3wademiami well obiously my names matt if you cant tell from my account name... and im the guy whos talking out of nowhere thats who i am... who are you? besides some random Dwade fan?
@itsMattydud3 I never even talked to you.I was talking to @swingingfordearlife.Go find you some friends you no life. You weren't even in this.lmao.I know ur lonely
@3wademiami haha im lonely? ok good job we'll just say you're right because i mean you would know you've met me before*sarcasm* and apparently my group of friends i have arent my friends because according to you i have no life... and the life that i have isnt really a life because according to you i have no life....hmm this all makes sense *sarcasm* hey dude get a good comeback and btw i was simply engaging in a conversation correcting the mistake you made in your previous statement about lebron
@3wademiami about when you said he played 8 years when he hasnt thats all i was saying until the heat are out of the playoffs or they win the finals lebron has only played a full 7 seven years...thats it im not trying to insult you and call you a low-life or say you have no friends because i my friend am able to act mature and if i wanted to insult you i wouldnt use lame ass 7th grade insults like "low life" or "no friends" i would atleast attempt to say something clever or half interesting
@itsMattydud3 Than go to the NBA and try to change that.As for the truth it's his 8th year. His 7 years were in Cleveland. Now he is with Miami for his 8th
@3wademiami you're absolutely right 7 years for the cavs and his 8th for miami but he is not finished his year with miami yet so he has played a full 7 years and MOST of the way thru his 8th year
@itsMattydud3 You're probably just learning this right now right? I know when i was years old i thought that too.Go to NBA and ESPN.It says 8.And when this is over(meaning someone won the championship) he'll be in his 9th
@3wademiami god you are fucking dumb arent you?! thats my point you retard he is in his 8th year! not finished with his 8th year which is what i said and you said the exact same thing. stop acting like u have a valid argument or that you're smarter than me when you cant even process my statement correctly im done talking to you now because our iq levels are obviously in WAAAYYYY different places.
@3wademiami yes i did start it and then halfway through i realized how dumb you were to the point where you couldnt even properly understand a simple paragraph at which point i realized how absolutely pointless it would be for me to continue talking to someone who is that dumb its pointless and time consuming you need help dude because i've ran into some dumbfuck people in my life and if you're as dumb as you're making yourself out to be well then thats just fucking dangerous.
@itsMattydud3 Quit being so sensitive u hoe.U said u were done so many times.lmao.You don't understand done. You're stupid as fuck. And halfway through u realized u got roasted and exposed.haha.I'm done dissing u.U might really kill urself since u dont know shit in this world and ur a waste
@3wademiami im a waste?? haha what the fuck says the guy who cant understand words or sentences... wow and since when was i sensitive? im only doing what you're doing which is acting like an asshole. lol no ones being sensitive in the conversation at all unless its you. and you're not really dissing me at all because in order to diss someone you have to make them feel stupid which i can honestly say you're not capable of that... now go put on your backpack and pack a lunch and go back to pre-k
@3wademiami HAHawow lemme copy and paste this ".U might really kill urself since u dont know shit in this world and ur a waste" xD sounds like someones throwing a temper tantrum you should get put in the back room for the night and sprayed with water for an attitude like that and by roasted and exposed do you mean acted a lot more knowledgeable than you? cuz if so than you are absolutely correct. i cant believe u took it this far all because i said lebron is currently in his 8th year haha lame
@lixmxil93 What in the world??? Do you not see his father hugging him????? He's crying because that's his first ever championship. His father saw his first 3 championships.
@SupermanRM27 true. hahahah.. man if jordan cried after ever time he got a championship or award he'd spend half his life playing basketball and the other half crying!

Being loyal to your team makes winning the championship even more special. This is why Dirk became emotional after the game. That's something LeBron can't say now even if he does win some.

This emotional catharsis Jordan displayed is the result of putting the team on your back for seven grueling years and finally overcoming the Pistons, Celtics, and Lakers after years of defeat. This moment is something Lebron James will never understand.
hemymariobro 9 months ago 87

Some of the best memories of my life...
upstatecryptonite 9 months ago
I never saw this era since I was born in '93. But I get this moment like Jordan was my brother.
He's crying because of everything paid off. All the hits he took, all the years he spent in the gym just shooting for hours, all of the opponents that gave him their all. Michael Jordan makes me proud to be an American. I hope for a future where I get the motivation to be as dedicated as he was at basketball. You're the G.O.A.T Jordan!!!!!!!!
NoName1325 9 months ago
Who cares about Kobe and Lebron...Jordan is greater than both of them put together. Gimme a prime Jordan over anybody anyday...hell I'll even take the Michael Jordan who played for the white sox over any anyone anyday...thats how great he was. MJ G.O.A.T.

@3wademiami to bad lebron is bettter...at what? playing basketball?????? hes the better choke artist
xXxThatStarxXx 10 months ago
@xXxThatStarxXx jordan is better at having a better team.heres a stat for you.do you know that lebron has a higher percentage than kobe at shooting the ball within 24 seconds while the game is within 3.so are you saying kobe is a choker too? lmao.u dont know basketball for shit
3wademiami 10 months ago
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife Where is this stat at? It's all wrong.Google"the truth about kobe bryant"..it's on espn and they have all the players stats in crunch time.and kobe is nowhere near close to the top.lmao
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami They were on NBAtv, and they're not wrong, the criteria is just different. That's why you gotta be careful with stats and how you throw them around because while they are telling to a certain degree, they can also be manipulated and shown in specific criteria.
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife I actually have proof.I doubt yours is right since they were on t.v. for god knows how long ago and you remember all those numbers from the top of your head?lmao.you're not fooling anyone.
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami Well it was fairly recent. I do not memorize stats, no. But I'm not trying to fool anyone, and it really isn't that big of a deal.. It's just it seems there'd be a reason for so many people picking Kobe to be their guy for a game winner, I mean he does have the most in NBA history. If Lebron or Wade ever pass him, then that's totally impressive and it's not like it'd bother me.
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife Did you google what i said to google? he hit the most because he took the most.kobe is 36-115..lebron is 23-69..thats hell lot better percentage than kobe.kobe is just a ball hog
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami Yes I did. Well sure, he's been in the league more than twice as long. For all we know, in 6 more years Lebron could be 30-120. It also depends on the criteria as I said. What I should you was game winners in regulation/overtime with 10 seconds left. You were talking about shots made with 24 seconds left in the game, correct?
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife In 6 more years i would doubt that he would take shots at the end of the game since he is on the heat and it is going to be rare for it to be close games because the heat is getting better and better as a team as you can tell by todays game from the 1st game they played when they didn't know each others tendencies. And you think he is going to be 7-50 the next 6 years for shots in close games? Now i know i'm talking to a hater for a fact.
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami Who knows, that's what I'm saying.. I'm not being a hater, I'm just saying that it's tough to tell and it could always happen. You are very on edge haha, I'm not a hater xP I'm just saying it's random and who knows when a player might go through a dry spell
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife You act like lebron is near his end.he started this season out at 25.jordan only had one ring at 25.
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami No Lebron's gonna be in the league for a long time. I was just saying you never know
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife Is that what you say every time you lose an argument? lmao
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami You're comparing the career of someone who's been in the league 15 years to someone who's been in it for 6-7 years, it's all estimation as to how the rest of Lebron's career will play out and compare to MJ, Kobe etc. As for now, he hasn't made nor attempted as many game winners as either, thus my saying I don't know how it will compare later on. If you wanna label that as me losing an argument then that's fine
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife lol.Look at you.Kobe is 13 years and LeBron is 8.You really don't know basketball. And These are the best players in the league.not no bum bench players.Every NBA fan knows this. Not you though.Just because you saw a 15 second highlight doesn't mean you know it all.Still LeBron's percentage is better than Kobe.ESPN exposed Kobe.Numbers don't lie.
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami Kobe came into the league at 17 and he is now 32.. and Lebron came into the league in 2004? I'm not sure what you mean. I never said numbers lied, I just said the criteria can be altered and changed to make certain players look better than others. You should act a little more mature and argue properly and quit with the fallacies.
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@swingingfordearlife LeBron came in the league in 2003 and he was 18 just like Kobe.Kobe was 18 when it was time for the season. The off season was he was 17.Just like LeBron.Kobe is 13 years pro and LeBron is 8 years pro.Your argument is pure ignorance bringing up all false numbers while i have to provide you with the real ones.lmao.You're not a fan of basketball.Just a hater of LeBron.Just stay doing what you do trying to look like Justin Beiber but please don't try to think you know basketball
3wademiami 10 months ago
@3wademiami Oh you're right, I was off by a year on both. Thinking high school, my bad. Honestly though, Lebron is an amazing player, and I'm not a hater. I just don't follow stats much because of the reasons I stated. And I can't flip my hair like the Bieber, but I will practice xD
swingingfordearlife 10 months ago
@3wademiami you're derp lebron isnt 8 years you douche he's 7 he has played a full 7 years of ball including playoffs this is his 8th year... a full year of basketball should count the playoffs too which arent over so he has played 7 years until the heat either lose or win the finals (or before that) lebron has only played 7 years and of course lbjs % is better kobes the one taking all the shots in LA hes bound to miss a lot where as lebron had 2 other stars to pass too so he doesnt need to

@3wademiami haha im lonely? ok good job we'll just say you're right because i mean you would know you've met me before*sarcasm* and apparently my group of friends i have arent my friends because according to you i have no life... and the life that i have isnt really a life because according to you i have no life....hmm this all makes sense *sarcasm* hey dude get a good comeback and btw i was simply engaging in a conversation correcting the mistake you made in your previous statement about lebron
itsMattydud3 9 months ago
@3wademiami about when you said he played 8 years when he hasnt thats all i was saying until the heat are out of the playoffs or they win the finals lebron has only played a full 7 seven years...thats it im not trying to insult you and call you a low-life or say you have no friends because i my friend am able to act mature and if i wanted to insult you i wouldnt use lame ass 7th grade insults like "low life" or "no friends" i would atleast attempt to say something clever or half interesting
itsMattydud3 9 months ago
@itsMattydud3 Than go to the NBA and try to change that.As for the truth it's his 8th year. His 7 years were in Cleveland. Now he is with Miami for his 8th
3wademiami 9 months ago
@3wademiami you're absolutely right 7 years for the cavs and his 8th for miami but he is not finished his year with miami yet so he has played a full 7 years and MOST of the way thru his 8th year
itsMattydud3 9 months ago
@itsMattydud3 You're probably just learning this right now right? I know when i was years old i thought that too.Go to NBA and ESPN.It says 8.And when this is over(meaning someone won the championship) he'll be in his 9th
3wademiami 9 months ago
@3wademiami god you are fucking dumb arent you?! thats my point you retard he is in his 8th year! not finished with his 8th year which is what i said and you said the exact same thing. stop acting like u have a valid argument or that you're smarter than me when you cant even process my statement correctly im done talking to you now because our iq levels are obviously in WAAAYYYY different places.

lol ok now im done

3wademiami 9 months ago
@3wademiami im a waste?? haha what the fuck says the guy who cant understand words or sentences... wow and since when was i sensitive? im only doing what you're doing which is acting like an asshole. lol no ones being sensitive in the conversation at all unless its you. and you're not really dissing me at all because in order to diss someone you have to make them feel stupid which i can honestly say you're not capable of that... now go put on your backpack and pack a lunch and go back to pre-k
itsMattydud3 9 months ago
@3wademiami HAHawow lemme copy and paste this ".U might really kill urself since u dont know shit in this world and ur a waste" xD sounds like someones throwing a temper tantrum you should get put in the back room for the night and sprayed with water for an attitude like that and by roasted and exposed do you mean acted a lot more knowledgeable than you? cuz if so than you are absolutely correct. i cant believe u took it this far all because i said lebron is currently in his 8th year haha lame
