This was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Musical Score. I believe John Williams was up against himself this year, but didn't win either nomination. He is up against himself again this year. The man defines the word genius.

itz funny listening to my name being everywhere and i love this movie and itz music so i love being named after it but i especially love this song and it is becoming my new goal to learn it on the piano... so maybe when i get it perfect ill post it on youtube but thank u so much for posting this beautiful song it really brightened my day :)

There are rare melodies like this one, which truly have this power to evoke a powerful, yet beautiful image in your mind of a moment in your life that wouldn't happen very often... An image that is far from being a cliche, but a realistic one that isn't forced in any way, but more given to you for you to feel it. And then somehow, you realise every single note means something, which is why it touches you... I'm pretty sure John Williams wasn't just composing for the movie, it goes way deeper!

John Williams is a GENIUS!!!!! Some of the movies out there just wouldn't be the same without his brilliant compositions.....Sabrina being a prime example =)

I didn't see this movie.

But I'm a fan of John Williams, and this piece is amazing.

I have no words to describe this... After all, Saint-Saëns said "there is nothing more difficult than talking about music"

Anyways, I'm glad John Williams has composed this for piano.

I hope his next concerto (after his oboe concerto) will be a piano concerto !

@TwiNerd27 I'm 18 too, My mom loved this movie and she used to watch it whenever she cooked for us on the weekends, and christmas, and thanksgiving.....I live in nyc now and I wish I could fall in love with Harrison

Yeah, it's a great classic. Something a little bit magical about it. Williams score is certainly one reason.
