Well they were going to kill Lestat, so she had to murder them all first. I love her dancing. I swear I remember seeing THIS dance in the movie first, not the shortened one which always looked like some moves were missing. Me and my friends were 9 yrs old trying to copy her.

I THINK THEY SHOULD HAVE KEPT THIS ONE!!!!! THIS ONE BEST SUITS HOW SHE CALLS OUT TO HIM! <3 BEST VAMPIRE MOVIE EVER! Twiliqht ain't qot sh*t on this!! Twiliqht makes Vampires look soft and indesirable, whereas Akasha and Lestat make the look sexy, bad and desirable! (= I still watch this movie yet today and I plan on watchin it in my near future.

I will never understand why all of this wasn't included smh One of the only good scenes. The characters and the acting weren't bad; the movie just didn't flow well. A lot was left unexplained like the characters, plots, bg history, relationships, back-flashes of the queen etc. They should've interpolated more parts of the book into the movie BTW the book was 10000xs better. I do find this scene to be interesting..it's not in the book so thumbs up for this idea but still..Aaliyah did great!

They should've left all these deleted scenes in, IMO. Are they all left in on DVD... is there an editor's cut, in otherwords? There should be!

*something else I noticed, well an idea... when Akasha is doing her dance and wiggles her fingers at the other vamp... they should've had him slide across the floor to her, like pulled towards her, magnetically... would've been cool to see. Just a thought!

@cofguitarist If aaliyah wouldn't have died. They should have made the movie 3 hours long, and she should have been stone at first, sort of like the mummy movie when he was a walking mummy. Akasha should have been a walking stone, and then in the middle of the movie, they should have made her catch on fire, not like nay fire. All the stone would have fallen off her, showing her human vampire image, and everyone would have been shocked. That's what I wished they would have done.
