  • Hi, nice checkmate hunt, but you certainly benefited to a large degree from the fact that your opponent didn't exploit your serious mistake already in the 3rd move (you admitted you didn't study the slav ;-)) While Bf5 is very good in many lines, it isn't after 1. d4 d5, 2. c4 c6, 3. Nc3, as white, after 3....Bf5, can simply continue 4. Qb3, pointing at both d5 and b7 (and you have hard times to defend both pawns). Best reply to Qb3 would be Bc8...admitting the mistake. 4. e3 is really weak.

  • @2:08 Lol, it's like a stonewall but without the light squared bishop!

  • Your rating is 1173?

  • in the opening when you played nc6 after your bishop was already on f5... Black is simply lost as you over looked Qb3 (forking b7 and pawn at d5. Check it with your computer... so really it doesn't matter what happend after that, because white was dumb and played poorly in the opening!

  • good game..

  • f4 ain't bad at all and h6 is far more dangerous then g6 anyway good game and keep making the videos tks :)

  • awful game by both sides

  • Yes - please post up your Caro-Kann tree!

  • Heart pounding, eh? =P I know my would of been, seesh.

  • Yes, very much. It was intense to play through all of that in blitz.
