This is the saddest simpson episode I've ever seen, I was really sad about her death, and I felt really bad for homer. : (

This was also a tribute to Dan Castellaneta's real mother (Elsie Castellaneta), Who also died at the same time. I remember the ending credits for this Simpsons episode had the message "This episode is dedicated to the memory of Elsie Castellaneta (Dan Castellaneta's Mother) (1927-2008)". May R.I.P. i can't really remember the last time i heard my mom said to me "i love u" i know it was on the phone, but i don't remember what date it was... she died in her sleep aswell, i remember all these ppl at my home in the miiddle of the night waking me up to tell me the bad news... this episode was emotional for me.

On The Mothers Day episode 2008 Homer get hurt when his mom comes back, Mona tries to tuck homer in for the last time he dosent exept the tuck in and he feels guilty he goes to find his mother dead on a chair, So either she died of a broken heart or old age you should see the other youtube video thats not by me it is awesome!!!
