Just disgusting listing to Secretary Paulson speak here about our economy "the envy of the world" and "strong for a long time to come".
What's disgusting is that after he made these ludicrous claims, and then when proved wrong and asked for the $700 billion bailout, politicians didn't call him out, or even question him. They just gave it to him anyway. And now, we're fucked.
So, watching this, who do you believe about the future? Secretary Pauslon, or Peter Schiff and Bob O'Brien?
We need people who are politically savvy, who are articulate and who are willing to keep a straight face, no ranting no idealism, just pure patriotism and two main goals. Our first goal will be to take our troops home from all the expensive occupying areas of the world. The second will be to relinquish the patriot act and take back all of our rights one by one. The third will be to abolish the Federal Reserve or to start an interest free monetary policy.
What's it going to take for people to realize that this isn't just going to rebound? We keep infusing more and more dollars into the system to keep it floating.
If your an investor your money will be zeroed out in no time.
If your infused with debt then your hurting the economy as we speak.
If you don't care then be prepared at least so your not stealing from others who did properly plan for this event.
Whether we have Obama or McCain America's stilts are breaking and America will sink.
Why are most of our elected representitives still wholly off course by majoritively allowing the continuation of Middle Eastern occupation? They can show their insipid sympathies and support for our troops but enough is enough, we all know now Bush's campaign in the Middle East was a permenant one. I seriously believe that it is time to come home and get our own house in order. Let's start by once again, thoroughly using the Constitution as a procedural document.
Not to mention, if an economy isn't producing as much as it once was, is spending hundreds of billions of war, gathers a $1 trillion dollar debt every 15 months, has a housing crisis amongst it's eroding middle class, all that tied to rising oil costs and a davluing dollar, this is called a recession.
Actually you are only half right. You are correct in saying that they are intentionally tanking our dollar but not because it's part of the cycle of economics but because they want to introduce the AMERO. See Larry King Interview With Vicente Fox on YouTube; The cat is out of the bag, in that interview Mr. Fox admits that Bush's SPP Agreement is about forming a North American Union and CURRENCY. WAKE UP AMERICA before it's too late!
The US government is purposely allowing the dollar to drop in order to boost exports and jump start the economy. It's all part of the cycle of economics.
I'm Mormon also and I voted for Ron Paul. I don't let my religious views effect my political views so maybe you should instead stop singling out a group based on their religion and instead focus on people who lack the education to even understand what is happening to America.
"Right", he says in response to Peter's statement about Ron Paul. It appears that most of the MSM has been corrupted - including Mr. Beck. I wonder how much TPTB are paying these people?
The Federal Reserve shouldn't be bailing out investment banks like Bear Stearns, and Wall Street for their reckless investments. By bailing these reckless corporations out, it only increases more reckless behavior. Capitalism isn't about bailing out big business, it is about rewarding hard work and good investments.
beck would have a credibility problem with his stance on terrorism. the main body of his work is on terrorism, i think he's slowly coming around. beck will research which is what i like about him.
unfortunately thernmshow, you are right. and now i'm paying 3.65+ per gallon(gas) and trying to save up to invest in gold and silver. Why, oh why didnt our voters educate themselves before heading to the polls!?!?!??
I'm wondering if it would have really mattered since by many accounts there will be an economic collapse in September before a new president would take office. Before there is a new president, everything may have already fallen apart. (And I wouldn't put it past Bush to stay in the White House past November. I have heard that something passed which would allow the current president to stay in the event of an emergency.)
Yeah, all this looks a lot suspicious.. and with trying to merge the 3 North American countries together with a new currency, the "Amero". It seems like the powers that be are working to create a situation to force everyone to accept the North American Union and the new funny money. And maybe they'll decide to declare the economy an emergency and keep Bush in office. All their other plans are working, more or less, while he has been in.
hank paulson - we have strong financial institutions - like Bear Stearns, like all of the companies that had to go to foreign investors like Citi and pay foreigners at least 10%!?!?! Merrill and many others wre there too!
yup, there are just simply too many stupid people who were too quick to knock him down simply because he was the least known republican on the stage.
He's still in the race, and can technically still win if people go out and become delegates - but I don't think lardass americans really have what it takes anymore to stand what they believe in.
Americans are Yelluh! (besides the RP peeps)
PROVE ME WRONG YOU LILY-LIVERED CONSTITUTION-MUNCHING SLAVES OF AMERICA! PROVE ME WRONG!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!
Yes Zhuangyao---Paulson has been acting extremely weird lately...If you see him talk on videos, just look as his demeanor; he looks frazzled, jittery and dazed.
Of course, GWB has been acting his usual 'giddy as Gene Autry at a ho-down' self.
America is screwed. Ron Paul warned about this and no one listened...except the second smartest man in the room, Schiff. Ron is a financial wizard. He knew and knows the truth and he's not bought and paid for by "all the presidents men".
no kidding sirreal6---I've been following Schiff and Rogers for years, hoping they were wrong but seeing everything line up faster by the year.... and I kept coming across an obscure congressman from TX with real tangible information and facts. I said 'Republican'? Texas? Am I a nutjob for even considering after GWB? At this point we're already FKD.
McCain in 2008. Let's get the destruction of this great country over with already.
I'd think Obama or Clinton would be more prone to set price controls and all the other policies that made the Great Depression to last as long as it did.
On the other hand, McCain probably believes in reducing unemployment by sending young men and women to die in wars.
You are right and its too bad people listen to MSM and let them decide who is "Electable" Ron was America's ticket to start to get out of this trouble but instead they picked more CFR/AIPAC controlled elites and we will ALL suffer for it.
Buy coats and jackets...then ignores Schiff when he says that Ron Paul has been smacking down Bernake for years...It's baiting the americans who care about this country.

The economy drives on cheap energy, and we don't have cheap energy anymore so we are doomed to fall into a depression.
I like Peter Schiff btw but i don't agree on everything he says

GLENN BECK is there for Contract against
the pure Propagandist Sean hannity. IF he had any balls he would beg the nation
to WATCH "LOOSE CHANGE"... but he likes his suck up job. Ron Paul Revolution needs 200 Patriot
to run for HOUSE, get elected, when Ron Paul
endorses them and raises $4million for each,
and then start trials for past TRAITORS.
Go RON PAUL... Screw Sean Hannity and Beck.

All Beck can say, "right", when Schiff speaks of Ron Paul? Sad!
Will anyone take in Media, take a stand for what is true and right?
Have they told everyone in Media, "Take the money and shut up or die"?

The American economy reminds me of how my ex-girlfriend handled her finances.
Rack up the credit cards, get a cheque in the mail from a lender at 28.8%, pay off the cards with it and then rack them up again.
Just need to go bankrupt and it will be the same.
