Ringo is known as a a very good drummer because of his excellent feeling of rhythm - it's ridiculous to argue here about it. For me it's just amazing to see him drumming and singing in the same time - how ever the quality is - just make me happy to see it, propably like the rest of the audience.........

Ring's drumming is all about technique. On no album will you hear him use the same 'method' twice as many drummers do (such as riding the cymbal over the bridge, and using repetitive tom tom rolls). He had great and intricate arrangements and a great sense of the offbeat. He didnt rock out or make you sit up, but he was a musical drummer. In that sense he was as good as Charlie Watts.

Wow you guys do not see that this video is in black and white, not the color of the really educated and quadrillion sound system of the 1990's thru today. Back in the 1960's it was a column of Shure cabinets Public Address system, not like today of the EAW hanging sound reinforcement systems. Ringo wasn't technically good no . He even admitted that .It was said he couldn't do a roll to save his lifee , but i mean you gotta give hi props . He was a lefty playing on a right handed kit , and he did a damn good job doing it. He is considered one of the best because of his style of drumming . You could just listen to the drums in any Beatles song and auttomatcially know what song it is because of the drumming . Not many drummers an do that .

Actually, they didn't have monitor speakers, and the fans were so loud that it was a miracle they even knew what song the others were playing. Ringo couldn't even get a pitch from his own instrument (in fact, it made it harder to get one) so I think it's okay that he goes a little out of key a few times.

They had a hard time hearing themselves over the screams, the sound systems were not like they are today (note the absence of monitors) which made it even harder for them to hear themselves. It's a shame they didn't continue together into the 70s and beyond; I think we would have eventually seen concert footage that would have sounded nice. And, I think the ladies would have eventually settled down enough to hear them.
