ooooo hell no this plugin is far from free since it was developed by ReFX,

it will set you back about £200 if you go to ReFX website, There are always pirated copies though but its worth a buy if u can afford

Listening side-by-side, the youtube lead has an over-pronounced phaser effect along with too much detuning. I realize this may not be the fault of the synth at all, but I can still hear these things and personally I don't feel like they belong.

Atleast, If you use the right presets from the right packs. Vanguard has pretty good presets already. But Nexus does'nt have any, you must have a expansion. That sucks. But I agree with TheRealAcren. It's not everything you need. Vengeance Essential Clubsounds 1, 2 and 3 is a great example. Without these, your songs will be beat-less..

It's the fruity filter in the FX tab, if you want an automation clip, add your fruity filter to the special effects tab for whatever you want filtering and right click the 'cutoff' dial, then, create automation clip, it should appear above your main music strip, then set your gradients accordingly. Enjoy.

Yeah you can, simply create your riff after adding your vanguard channel, when you're finished click on the vanguard channel and it'll bring the modulater box up with the FX tab in the corner, set your cutoff in bank 4 for example then select bank 4 in your modulater, then create your automation clip, simple
