how exactly do u change the lenght of the notes , i cant just drag it :S

@TuningFreak23 You have to turn off the grid to drag small amounts. CTRL/CMD-4 does this I believe.

Beast! Does this program have piano/string/etc sounds as well as synths??

@smithy2306 actually i was very dissapointed by the lack of good sounds in this program...its better to download your own sounds...

A really nice simple video thanks alot, a tremendous help. I been doing heaps on reason and logic but just can't seem to get my head round ableton, this clip really helped cheers dude *****

This has been called the "TB303 method" of clip creation. If you've ever used Rebirth, you'll understand what I'm doing here right away. :)
