just get a thicker viscosity oil and i might quiet it down. ive a bugeye(02) and a hawkeye(06). it will still sounds like that but it will quiet it down. boxer engine isnt very smooth but it is still a strong reliable motor. i love em.
its a lifter tick, easily 1/3 of the DOHC turbos Ive seen sound like this.Essentially your valve springs become ever so slightly fatigued thereby reducing the height on your solid lifter setup. And a result, the gap between your cam lobe and your lifter increases, causing the sound. Can be cured but it's very time consuming.

i have a mitsubishi 4g91 engine and the valve tap sound like yours.. until now no solutions.

@shai25204 adjust the tappets with a feeler gauge, find out the factory lifter gap setting.
