Although you really should pay for the food, since the server isn't the one getting paid for that. They make far below minimum wage and rely mostly on tips for pay. Plus, they'll know it's their fault for giving bad service if you don't give them a tip. If you don't pay for the meal, that's stealing.

The food purchase is solely buisness; the teasing or rude comments is a separate social matter--you can't solve an ethical dilemma by fooling with someone's meal.
