Sadly I have been in that situation before... except I handled things differently.... I didnt beat up my tv I just sat there and pouted until my mom came home an hour later to tell me that there were no batteries for the remote... so i spent the whole time upset for missing my tv show when i could have gotten batteries from the kitchen drawer (sad)
