  • this illuminati bitch can eat my dick

  • she is smart as fuck

  • Good speech

  • Parred.

  • The world has problems.

    She pointed them out.

    So?

  • @SARchaZm shes 13 or so, when u were that age you just learned to wank, troller

  • @theone8se7en true XD

  • Why was this ALL OVER the news!!!!???

  • Why was this not in the news? Why am I just seeing this now? This was a wonderfully done speech, and it should have been brought to the mainstream media, and yet I look at it 4 years after the impact should be made. Unless I have the time period wrong..

  • @teamflyboys Nevermind I should have looked at the description before I typed it.

  • I don't get it why you people or ADULTS look on how she present her speech

    listen to the message!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • /watch?v=TkiCOtqe1J0 an animation done with her speech :)

  • @unleashthevoice Yes maybe it was disrespectful and arrogant but I don't believe it was unwarrented. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I don't think she or anyone else could have done a better job than she did just then.

  • u are what u do not what u say !

  • amazing speech

  • Her words fall on deaf ears...most are so danm ignorant that they rather focus on her tone or her delivery of the speech without even bothering to listen to the main point of it. Mostly becuase change scares them and money is a much more valuable prize

  • @unleashthevoice....keep your thoughts to yourself...thats a child on an international stage eloquently voicing something we wish we could all say, and be heard. Taking a blow at a child, especially one with enough courage to do what she did...pathetic!

  • i think her speech was too disrespectful and demanding and had a very strong arrogant undertone....

don't get me wrong she is very very brave to get and speak on behalf on children...

but i think the speech would have been more effective if it was written differently... and i think she also didn't deliver the speech too well... it was almost emotionless. no passion in her voice... but once again she is still brave for standing up for us kids!!

  • @UnleashTheVoice You are an idiot

  • yaaayy go green every boddyyyy

  • In a world where 1% of the population owns 40% of the planet's wealth… in a world where 34,000 children die every single day from poverty and preventable diseases, and where 50% of the world's population lives on less than 2 dollars a day… one thing is clear: Something is very wrong.—Peter Joseph

My question is: How can they OWN 40% of OUR planet's Wealth? who are you assholes??? Because you know how to do the BUSINESS or how to Make WEAPON ... INEQUALITY,GREEDY

  • It makes me cry that, she is thirteen and she doesnt have a Justin Beiber shirt.

What about his stocks, what about his forrests that will turn to deserts, what about the speechlees animals that enjoy his peace and fun-loving music that will never get to hear it because they waste time watching this. ITS SAD :( NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE, WE HAVE BEEN LIVING DESTRUCTION SINCE HUMANS HAVE BEEN AROUND, grow up and listen to Justin :)

  • Eh? A kid patronizing adults? Giddamit, 1968 destroyed education!

  • I'm a man god damn it! I'm not suppose to cry!

  • i am a 14 years old girl and i feel same with her

  • WOW UNBELIVABLE ....JUST SHOWS HOW COWARDLY PEOPLE REALLY ARE TO SPEAK THE TRUTH....OMGOSH MADE ME CRY...

  • Oh, the compulsive urgency.

  • For any kid who might watch this, understand that people just like her have been saying this for hundreds of years. Understand that there will be immense social pressure on you to abandon your intelligence to become like those who snicker and condescend to these ideas. Find solidarity with those who share your intelligence and give no quarter to those who choose selfish ignorance. The internet has changed things. And that will be what they will try to take away.

  • I agree with her, things must change, end fractional banking, end all wars, end modified foods, end fluoride in our water supply, end the CIA and there false flags, end big government, end the UN and the world bank, and end the religion of man made climate change, and we will…

  • @i8uNWO

Why do you want to end "modified foods", by which I assume you mean genetically modified foods. GM foods are extremely important for keeping food prices as low as possible, and keeping people who can barely support themselves alive. We grow GM foods to increase pest resistance, to protect plants from viruses and bacteria, and to make plants more tolerant to weather fluctuations. Without GM foods, we would have a lot less food.

If you don't like them, then you don't have to eat them.

  • @LauraReneeSchramm Don’t mess with nature is what I am saying, If you think Monsanto is doing it for us, Think again... it's the Banking system and big business that keeps people in poverty, Did you know the sanctions against Iraq killed over 500.000 children! 500.000 innocent kids… murdered! And the killing still goes on today in the name of freedom in the USA! No, our food is fine, it’s the people in charge that are faulty.

  • @i8uNWO Well, I certainly agree with you there. Sanctions hurt a country's people far more than they hurt its leaders. And yes, promoting freedom by halting free trade in its tracks is... in the nicest terms, nonsensical. There would certainly be a lot more food to go around if countries restrained from using economic sanctions. Peace dude :D.

  • not one dislike... powerful stuff:)

  • this really did raise my hairs...

  • God Bless Her! And may the Lord have mercy on all this who come against this purpose with negligence.

  • Wow!

  • Well...for the most part she is right and I appreciate her protest, but still half-truths.

  • @TheAnonymousGiant y dont u make a video of full truth......if u know all the truths y are u silenced?

  • tearz here....

  • I'm from Taiwan. The weather in Taiwan is strange. Yesterday was very cold. But today is very hot. Our earth is dying. Let's do something for the earth.

  • I watched this tonight, actually looking for an "inappropriate speech". The message this child brought to the UN brought tears to my eyes. I wish we had more people like her that would stand up for the rights of children, animals and the environment. I have read posts stating that the US helps those countries in need. I do agree with that, but think of the billions, or rather trillions that is spent monthly on wars that will never be won.....

  • Could this little maggot be the Daughter of David Suzuki reading his speech ?

  • @kroikye u think some one is playing politics here too!!

    get some life...

  • @AkkiSantana Indoctrinated youth crying about "Saving the Planet", get REAL

Al Gore alarmism has been well debunked, I agree on less pollution and a cleaner environment, who doesnt ?

But CO2-reductions are a waist of money, "climategate" reaffirmed this

  • @kroikye tell this to ur childrens.........CO2-reductions are a waist of money,

    open ur eyes!!

  • Uhh...actually, we did think about those things years ago. When did Earth Day start? Let's remember that extinctions happened long before people even appeared on the planet. That's not to say we shouldn't take care of the planet...we should do everything we can. But let's not make this out to be something new. And we're not willing to share? Seems to me that every time some catastrophe happens, North Americans are the first ones rushing all kinds of aid to wherever it's needed.

  • wrong and I am sick of you lot thinking you are saving the damn world!! honestly, if it wasnt for you the world would not be this fucked up, thanks for sharing your greed, lies and mess with the whole world hundreds of years ago and now playing the worlds police to pretend to protect it from the pain you caused it

  • And you, of course, know all about me and what I do and what I give away...wow, talk about hypocritical!

  • Speak for yourself hun! x Most of us are ok ya know, just got to trust us : ) xxxxx

  • almost 18000 people viewed this message, I wonder how many people actually think about what this girl is saying, especially since there are only 44!!! people that responded, of which some people even make bad remarks.

It's unfortunate the average joe with common sense wants to put in more effort to change this world, than the people that actually have the power to change it.

Governments give these issue the same amount of priority as how many parking tickets should be given per year. sad.

  • wow she's only 13, well she has got a good point adults need to make the world better otherwise how shall we survive if we do not have the resources needed? Man the people on this post(most people) must really don't care that she is trying to make a change

  • What liberties? Watching football and drinking beer?

Remember the words of Pastor Martin Niemöller

    First they destroy the environment, and I did not speak out—because I was not a environmentalist;

    Then they destroy the economy, and I did not speak out—because I was not a economist;

Then they destroy my liberties—and there was no one left to speak out.

And then this one by Tacitus:

The worst crimes were dared by a few, willed by more and tolerated by all

  • @abejon2002 what ?? which side are you speaking for

  • Some suffer because of their own actions, most suffer because actions of others, all suffer because indifference of most

  • This kid can talk.

  • It makes me cry that nothing has still happened...

  • While her message was great and she presented it incredibly well for such a young person, it should be noted that she is the daughter of a famous Canadian environmentalist David Suzuki. Odds are that he had a big part to play in the writing of the speech.

  • I don't care is she is the daughter of a tree frog and a dolphin or if her father played a part in her speech I would suspect he did as he raised her so by default is it safe to say he had a 50% part? and mom the other 50%? I will however bet that in your entire life you will not have come close to to the bravery of this child. Work on you and whoever makes you better doen't take away from your accomplishments in life.

    YOU ARE WEAK

  • Comment removed

  • why didnt they listen!?

its still like that today..(thogh a bit better)

  • I apologize for my ceptcism but i don't really think that she made that speech... but the point is not that...what matters the most is the message... even if it had been an adult it would mean a great deal and that is what people should always focus on ... THE MESSAGE not the messenger

  • I completely agree with everything she said and if I had the opportunity to do the same I would.... Adults dont listen. Ever. Everyone is to concerned about Capital Gain.

Nothing has changed.... and it's becoming harder and harder to fight to save the world, when over half the world is bent on destroying it.

  • LOL.

    exploiting a child?

I will say those things if I were given an opportunity like that. You can see she is doing that on her own will. People like you make me sick. Everything is negative in your eyes.

  • *****

  • She inspires me, she is so moving.

  • she is >>>>>>> GoooooooooooooD

  • What has changed since then... 1992...

    What has ever changed.

  • she's AMAZING. she should win some kind of award!

  • Her point is worth 100's of awards...

Still, not the reason why she says what she does.

  • SHE IS SUPER GOOD.

    touched my heart totally...

  • That's really low. Exploiting children like that. It makes me sick.

  • you do know children have brains right? They are capable of writing and thinking

  • not all children... some girls have to walk miles to just get a gallon of water for their families... some are capable of writing and thinking... but most children in europe, africa, AND EVEN AMERICA!

  • im a retard, just got the sarcasm, i need to jump off bridge

  • That girl is amazing. Exactly what we need in this world to change everything. Everyone that wants to learn more about whats going on in our environment should visit my page. I will be publishing a lot of good videos about the environment etc very soon. I love to hear feedback.

  • Wow! What a girl!

  • She is magnificent. But why has she not been listened to? Are we dead to her plea? At least, if she is the future, there is hope.

  • Its so many years............have the world moved on or have we forgotten? Its a crying shame if we did.

  • lets change this world.

  • Let's, but will it?

  • excellent

  • excellent ,shakable and mind blowing speech.

    message to the whole world

  • wow!! go girl, at our school we are also fighting and making rpotests for our environment and against global warming, it only takes a few with big ideas to change the world... amazing!!!!!

  • This girl is the product of Canada's best asset - DAVID SUZUKI. I love that he passed the torch to his child to fight for our future. She is a passionate, big hearted, beautiful person. Please pass this video on, so that her passion infects more childern that share her core. Even if we reach 3 more people that makes the world 3 people stronger!

  • She's nearnly 30 now--I wonder what she is doing now? Has anything improved since this speech? I don't think so...

  • I thought that dress looked dated.

  • No, it's back in style, now... :-)

  • Yeah, that's her whole point :|

  • Good for her! There are so many kids who are concerned with just video games and that's it.
