Defeat an enemy officer during Rampage or just leave the person out for one battle. Either of those improve condition by one level, but Rampage can be used repeatedly for greater effect.
it's always interesting, to compare all Nobunaga Oda game portrayals with each other, this one here seems to be the nice guy while Basara turns him into a real demon. I like his portrayal in Onimusha and Samurai Warriors most, but these others are also great. I recently bought Nobunaga's Ambition, it's amazing.
I actually liked the historically inaccurate ending. I was playing the whole thing, thinking that certainly Nobunaga would be killed at Honnoji. When it didn't happen. I was shocked.
@scarin124 Except for the fact that he was actually and asshole and very brutal Daimyo and showned no mercy to his enemies, but other than that i guess hes a cool guy
@copdrop6 His intentions werent good at all.....At the third siege attempt at Nagashima vs. the Ikko-Ikki, he built palasides around the castle and cut off every possible escape route for the people inside, and he burned the place to the ground, litteraly, with no differentials if it was solidiers, women, children, or the ill.
@BabyPunter94 And the Ikko Sects were a royal pain in the ass. He wanted to finish them off once and for all. I can understand why he did it. Not what I would have done, but I understand.
@copdrop6 All of your enemies are a pain in the ass....thats war. He could have just beaten them in battle and occupied the country, and yes i know there could be some unrest with the people there, but there is no need for a sensless massacre of innocent people.
The monks were a glorified bandit pack spanning the entire COUNTRY. The people living with them were criminals as well, who had run to the temples to be safe from punishment. The monks were a worse version of the Yakuza.

After this Series, Oda Nobunaga will be forever remembered in my heart as The Great Ruler of Japan, his death is tragic, i think this is what makes this Story/Era so great

i don't think there is... just buy it. if you liked this game, you'll LOVE that one. that is, if you liked the aspect of strategy in this game like most do
