  • The Libyan dictator is on the run this morning of 22 August 2011. The freedom fighters are in Tripoly. The citizens that Gaddafi claimed were prepared to defend him to the end, are infact cheering the freedom fighters. Perhaps Gaddafi, like the Danish fatso in this video really believes that those he suppressed and tortured, love him.

  • God, Frost is just embarrassing nowadays - fawning over senior politicians & heads of state. What on earth is AJ thinking of letting him interview people. He takes ass-licking to whole new extremes. Thank God he had the nouse to shut up when Benn started to speak!

  • Thumbs up if you think Tony Benn is a brilliant man.

MACEDONIA belong to the MACEDONIANS,and must be united again!

  • And here is the flaw babis.......10.49.......neglect , no hope, no feeling of security. A governments purpose should be to make sure that it provides the opportunities to its people to be able to NOT depend on the government....so that they can be responsible for their hope and their security.....It is a mistake for governments to act as cushions because they render their people depended on them...and that is BAD!

JUST FED UP WITH EVRY1 GIVING ME PROMISES & LATER KEEPING NONE .

  • @hobitcook Problem here in the states is Democrats over promise with entitlement programs that are UNSUSTAINABLE. Democrats, Proggressives, Liberals, have created more dependance on government, & have killed individuals incentive to work! Democrats BUY votes here buy empowering public unions to rob tax payers, to pay so called public servants a wage that DOUBLES similiar private sector jobs. California will be the 1st state to implode from this arrogance!

  • @joe035 here basic pay in a month is 700 euros ( 750 dollars ) . now coz of austerity measures is been reduced in 592 euros ( 640 dollars ) . we have 1 of the lowest pays in EU & we also have the highest VAT ( cigarettes , drinks , food , gas ) in EU . yes our politicians r corrupted but so r politicians all over the world . thats why all countries ow money 2 THE BANKS ! . this crisis is another trick 2 take our last few money . nothing more nothing less .

  • @hobitcook Even in the best forms of government those entrusted with power in time & slow progressions will revert to Tyranny. Thomas Jefferson

Our Founders had a good feel for human nature & government. Our elected degenerates have done a fine job of perverting what they created. Taking a nation of Independants & turning them into a nation of dependants. Rothchilds, & Rockefellers can never make too much money.

  • @joe035 true . greetings from athens dear friend . we created democracy & it means the state has the power . the state meaning the people of the state . now there r only a few who decide what is best 4 us . what we have here in greece the past 37 years is dictators .

  • @hobitcook The US was founded as a Constitutional Republic, but if you listen to our media you would think we are a democracy too. Madison defined us as a Represenative Democracy which by his evaluation was our version of a Republic. Our leaders sware an oath to uphold the Constitution, which many of them believe to be a living breathing document to be perverted by them then the foundation which protects the individuals rights. Our founders had it right, we to are heading towards tyranny.

  • @hobitcook I can see that your comment is 9 months old. But nine months ago you had an elected government hadn't you? I didn't vote for it because I was too young to vote; but still it was the government that the people voted for. Haven't you read the morning papers?

  • Greek people have SOME BALLS OF STEEL. Not such dumbed down pussies such as most germans here... D:

  • Indeed! He is obviously living in a world of his own because at 01:24 of the video he claims that what happened in Athens is "unheard of".

  • @ 01:24, regarding his babbling that such things are "unheard of" in Greece.

His grandfather Constantine I, ordered the militia to open fire on strikers at a time when he had no role at all in Greek affairs, long before he became a king. The incident caused the government of Charilaos Trikoupis to resign. George I, supported his son's unconstitutional and indeed criminal action.

Also during the dictatorship of degretsia's parents shooting at demonstrator meant promotion.

    Good riddance!

  • Look who is expressing views on democracy and how Greek police should be dealing with protesters. Pending the first hangings in Cyprus during the martial rule of the hideous Sir John Harding, in 1956, the police force of the Paul and Frederica regime was ordered to open fire on protesters demonstrating outside the British Embassy in Athens. 4 demonstrators were shot dead and over 200 were seriously wounded. The Tory sponsors of DeGrecias parents in London were seriously pleased.

  • roimat - Have you considered, instead of coming to these forums to "defuse" your reserves, to join a therapy group? Such groups are organised according to age. This means that you won't be dealing with people half your age. People of your age group won't be as threatening as young female students. Best of luck. I am not going to respond further to your vulgar comments. What can a person who uses a language such as yours have to say beyond the vulgarity he tries to express?

  • Roimat, By hurling vulgarities at other users while hiding behind the democratic facility of YouTube, as made available by the US, you are not exercising any form of democratic rights - because it is not democracy or the lack of it that prevents people from calling your mother, sister, or wife, a prostitute. By doing so you show cowardice and a sick mind. You wouldn't call someone's sister or mother in a street of Athens filthy names. If you do you'll be lucky if you only end up in a wheelchair.

  • Marius - By doing so, she/he is actually inviding others to respond to her/him in the same way. Perhaps she/he enjoys this kinf of language and helps her/him to give vent to her/his repressed feelings. In Psychology there is a name for such a condition

  • Eurydike - Re: the "roimat" looney bin:

He/she is certainly turned on using a dirty language and provoking others to use the same languate with reference to his/her immediated family. This seems to be what "prepares" him/her for that little activity that sad lonely people like him/her are hooked on. Thanks for unearthing his/her dirty comment of two years ago. I blocked him/her and I am not responding to any further comments from him/her. Just do the same.

  • T - Perhaps this was excessive, because disturbed individuals of this nature, tend to enjoy this kind of language. At any rate, if he/she is Greek, perhaps you know Greeks better than me!

  • S-P - Don't worry, old "roimat" is the happiest user on YouTube this moment. This is the most exciting thing that happened to her/him today. The poor louse has no life outside these forums. I doubt if he/she ever had the courage to speak to anyone of the opposite sex outside YouTube. He/she uses degretsia as an excuse in order to socialise. So, don't feel sory for her/him, because she/he likes it like this!

  • roimat - So, she makes you "laugh"! That's good, But there is no substitute to the medication your doctor prescribed. Keep taking those tablets. Also go out in the fresh air. There is life outside youtube you know! Take up gardening - De Grecia was adverdising for a gardener. Here's your chance to serve the Danish Court!

  • roimat - @ i can call someone how ever i like .... In a Democracy [sic - your English]

  • roimat - If someone who swears at you is αλήτης, then what would you call someone of your age who swears at a teenage girl just because her views differ from whatever yours might be. I say whatever yours might be, because till now apart from swearing you haven't expressed a single opinion about the videos. Do you come in these forums just because you want to swear at someone? Do you suffer from Tourette's Syndrome?

  • Lyk - As I have often said, it does not matter what people call you - as long as they do not call you a pigeon-pie and eat you.

I wish we stop going on about it. I just visit these forums to take my mind away from college work for a few minutes at a time. I am not really interested in this kind of exchange. The fault perhaps is mine. I ought to have remembered who he (or she) was when I responded to one of his (or her) comments some weeks ago. Now, let us allow the matter to rest - shall we?

  • KK - Poor "roimat" reminds me of Dudley Moore in the film Arthur:- After the father of the bride made him black and blue, Arthur turns to the Liza Minelli character and whispers confidentially: "I gave it to him where I wanted it". At the same time he couldn't walk or even stand up from the beating.

The scene just came to mind when I read his comment where he "graciously" wishes someone "περαστικά".

  • Tanja - @ ... влахов

Perhaps! But also, probably, an old man who must be feeling awfully lonely and this is his only means of communication with the outside world.

  • roimat - Now on the subject of complex, you do yourself a favour not to throw stones from inside a glasshouse. Do you remember your comment to a girl of 18 two years ago?

    Here it is:-

    "roimat (2 years ago) -10

You don't know nothing...you propably are just another sosialist hore..."[sic]

There can be no doubt as to what you meant by "hore".

After expressing such hatred towards a teenager, half your age, you are hardly in a position to speak of complexes

  • Eurydike -

Charming! I did not realise he/she was the one who called me a "sosialist hore"[sic] after I posted one of my very first comments on YouTube over two years ago. Our jolly encounter was in the forum of the video immortalizing the wedding of one of the DeGrecia maidens - the short dark one; don't remember her name.

I thought I recognized the "roimat" screen name from somewhere. I even responded to a couple of his/her views on my comments recently. He/she must be rather unhappy!

  • roimat - I refer you to Eurydike's response to your comment:- ... "stupitidy[sic] is unbeatable":

    Here it is:

I would be inclined to agree! And your own stupidity is the best example of that!

  • roimat:- @ "stupitidy[sic] is unbeatable ..."

I would be inclined to agree! And your own stupidity is the best example of that!

  • roimat -: @ stupitidy is unbeatable greeks....[sic]

Since you think that the Greeks are stupid, then why do you hang about forums with a strong Greek political theme? If you do so because you want to "educate" them, then say something which can be verified. From what I read till now of your comments, you tend to speak emotionally; i.e. you argue from a wishful thinker's point of view. Do you really believe that all the struggles and bloodshed to rid Greece of these pests, were misguided?

  • Roimat, are you aware that the grandfather of this mobile Danish charcuterie was responsible for the resignation of Charilaos Trikoupis, the Greek PM who dared to question the divine right of Constantine (I) who as a prince ordered the militia to open fire at a group of strikers?

Degrecia comes from a backround to which an elected Parliament means nothing. As late as a few months before the junta, he expressed his disapproval of our elected Parliament. Can you imagine Elizabeth doing that?

  • Lykauges - @ "Can you imagine Elizabeth doing that?"

Elizabeth has accepted her decorative role as dictated by the democratically elected Parliament of Britain. The Danish/German family who oppressed and divided the Greek nation, and have been responsible for all national tragedies, since their liberation from the Othomans, never wanted to be like the British monarchs. They eventually killed the goose that laid the golden eggs and that was the end of them. They should accept it with dignity.

  • idiotic!

  • I love how this ex-King is saying "we" are democratic. First of all he's not really a Greek but a Dane/German. As the grandson of Greeks I have more Greek in me than he does. And shouldn't someone remind him that the country voted him out of power?

  • i wonder what would happened if the king came back to greece and had fallen in the hands of the rioters....

    "king" stay away from us.

  • Well, most certainly DeGrecia can not be blamed for what happened. However, he never showed the same readiness to criticise the Greek Police during the regime of his parents when peaceful demonstrators were shot dead for just demonstrating. He is the most unlikely person to express an opinion on Greek affairs.

  • i dont live in greece, i am greek and i hve opinions. is that ok?

  • Certainly!

  • The old porkchops hardly lived in Greece. What kind of opinion can he express about our country. He lived the last 42 years at Hampstead, plotting and eating well. His interest in Greece is most unwelcome. If it is just attention he is after, then why not try in his own country?

  • De Grecia's mother was behind the murder of Dr Lambrakis who was an MP for Piraeus. She wanted her taste of blood after the humiliation she suffered in London outside Claridges Hotel where she was spat on by relatives of Greek political prisoners who were held without trial, in detention centres on remote islands, since the end of WW2. Now Frost calls him to express views on a country that still suffers as a result of his family's recklessness and bloody-mindedness.

  • frfino:- "hostorical" "comunist"

Surely, with such supporters as you, the fat Dane's future is certain!

  • Euridike88 - @ His "certain future"

  • Eurydike - Old "frifino" seems to have learned her English where she learned her history!

  • And what about the detention facilities on the islands Mr De Grecia, which your parents sponsored, as late as the 1960s with the blessing of their Whithouse patrons who imposed your family on the Greek people!

  • During a students' demonstration in Athens, in the 1950s, in favour of union of Cyprus with Greece, his father's police shot dead 4 students and wounded over 200. This scumbag is the last person to express an opinion on democracy. He was ousted as a result of a democratic referendum.

"A cancerous tumour has been removed from our nation" - Constantine Karamanlis, former PM of Greece, on the day the results of the referendum were anounced.

  • During his father's time there was a straightforward solution to the problem of demostrators: THEY WERE SHOT ON SIGHT.

De Gretsia is the last person to express an opinion about Democracy in Greece. His father, Paul, used to execute people because of their political views.

He is not even Greek. He is Danish/German.

  • At 01:24, he states that what happened "is unheard of".

Yet in his own lifetime demonstrators of all ages were shot dead in their dozens while demonstrating peacefully outside the palace in Athens when the US imposed his uncle George on the Greek people.

In the 1960's a humanitarian doctor and renowned human rights campaigner, Dr Lambrakis, was killed by his mother's lackeys in public view.

In 1956 demonstrators supporting union with Cyprus were shot at, leaving 3 dead and 200 wounded.

  • Comment removed

  • Dr Lambrakis was murdered in a Greek city square in broad daylight and his murderers were never found. Mr De Grecia is very familiar with the incident because the murder was ordered by his mother - the hideous Frederica who was a member of Hitler's youth and brought in our country a nazi morality which is alien to our culture.

  • frifino: The CIA-sponsored state of Paul, like its Iranian counterpart which was run by the sad little shah, did not need the murder of the MP for Piraieus in order to be discredited. The puppet "monarch" Paul, unlike his European legitimate counterparts, instigated the execution of numerous political opponents after a series of show trials in a MILITARY COURT while claiming to be a constitutional monarch in times of DEMOCRACY.

  • What does Frost think he is doing? Since when are ousted dictators fit to express views on the country from which they have been kicked out? One can not call this Danish/German porcine figure a traitor because he is not even a Greek. He was working for his Washington masters who killed more Greeks than the Germans did in order to impose his family on the Greek people.

  • He can live for as long as he wishes, but not on our account, and not in our country. He has a country of his own. He caused enough havoc and unhappiness in our country. He made his millions while Greek families were broken and Greek territory was practically given to our enemies as a result of his arrogance and recklessness.

  • While I do not approve with comments expressing violent threats, I must refer you to the way you responded to a young girl when she politely suggested a collection of videos posted by EllinikiKardia that she thought you might find interesting.

  • REVOLUTION

  • And they keep presenting him as "king Constantine". KING OF WHAT? King w/o a people in a king no more.

  • This is a full blown organic rejection of a long planned NEW WORLD ORDER plan .

The zietgeist of the people is that THEY KNOW!

That the global economy is being collapsed to create a single currency ( Euro & Amero) and a global POLICE STATE!

This is nothing short of the Nationalization & Socialization of every aspect of the lives of ALL HUMAN BEINGS!

    National Socialism ...hmm?

Where have I heard that before?

    Oh yeah!

    It's NAZISM!

    Good luck with that.

It didn't work the last time either.

  • These despicable press prostitutes peddle their lies and their ignorance endlessly. Media propagandists understands that there is a genuine social uprising occurring in Greece and are determined to undermine its huge significance for the vile criminals that hold power in that corrupt state. Solidarity from Ireland to the brave people of Greece who have suffered in silent anger the crimes of the State, may the rage of the Greeks overflow and drown the police and their contemptible masters.

  • a communist could help you build a house, or a communist could rape your dog. Figure out the difference! Yoiu CAN have a democratic communist society, they are not mutually opposed.

  • "...i am ashamed of my fellow greeks"

Are you ashamed because they felt that a stage has been reached where the police shouldn't behave like a private army? In a democracy the police officers are civil servants, and as such they are accountable for their actions. In Greece, no matter what government we have, they seem to be a government within a government.

Damaging private property is anacceptable - but then again, some people choose to behave like hooligans outside a police uniform.

  • Down with the State! rise people!

  • That's right, get a serious guest. When we voted whether we want him or not he got 10%; wouldn't even get 1% now. He's not allowed in the country, because he refuses to give up his old passport which has the 'king' title on it. He's one to talk about democracy. He only approaches the country by yacht, doesn't know anything about our country and especially young people, what a joke.

  • Jame - check your dates: e.g. not 1968, but Dec 1967. Also the coup of the colonels was just in time to prevent the coup he planned with a group of Generals. So, even without the coup of the colonels, the country would have ended up with another junta: a junta of Generals. One dictatorship is as bad as another.

Also, he did not "serve in the army" but divided his time between the three military schools - i.e. he got 1/3 of the military education expected by a Greek army officer.

  • Comment removed

  • I never approved of Karamanlis' policies. Yet he was a democratically elected Greek politician - something that can not be said about any members of DeGrecia's family.

  • Actually, Mr DeGrecia got approximately 30% of the vote. But it is true that today, as recent polls revealed, he is likely to get between 10 and 15%. This is owed to the fact that information about his relationship with the junta as well as his part in the eventual Cyprus tragedy came out in the open - this was not possible during the police state goverments which were run from Washinton before and during the junta.

  • 100% agree with you! i so hope that this is only the beginning of a world wide movement!!

it's time for people to speak up - get rid of these money hungry, controlling, warmongering bastards!

I am watching reports about the brave people in greece on italian, spanish, german and stateside channels and they all are the same lying propagandist, as you put it "press prostitutes". Trying to twist facts - call those people extremist, anarchists. I am down with the people in greece!!

  • but dont you know? lowerclass people are worth shit to them. if we take power we are communists if we speak up against oppresion we are communists. if we elect leaders they are considered evil communists. they fear us

  • Mr Frost, are you in need of audience and controversy? You have to be kidding us. He was kicked out for a good reason. We live in modern times, what the hell is a king? King of what, of who? Who wants a king or queen over their heads. Middle ages? The Greeks find the whole notion of Kings as a joke.

  • 18to35 - they can be symbols of stability if they are recognised as such. During the just under 90 years that this family spent on Greek soil, they were always a divisive force.

Only Paul, deGrecia's father, managed to have an unbroken reign. There was an assassination, exile, abdication, a death under suspicious circumstances, another exile, return with foreign armies killed more Greeks than the Germans did during WW2 in order to reinstate them, and finally a plebiscite that saw them off.

  • "... Greeks find the whole notion of Kings as a joke".

Yes, now they do, and they laugh with deGrecia. However, during the time when his buffoon father and hideous mother were in office, if they were a joke then they were a very bad one indeed!

  • I am talking about the first guy of course :)

  • Please next time interview a more reliable person. We Greeks dont give a shit about that guy, he helped with his position dictators take the control in Greece a few years before. He doesnt live in Greece and never will. So he doesnt know the problems we Greeks have and we dont even want him to know.
