  • @somervillain , I'm just a true fan like any other true fan making statements that for some people are true and for some other are not.

For instance: "The best band in the world", "best song ever", etc, well, u get the point.

  • Skinny puppy is like water....without it the human race would die....

  • i have love SKINNY! I have always been vilified - such is life{

  • herion .. i can see it

  • where can I find the rest of the documentary?

  • do CARALHO!!

  • I have been a Skinny Puppy since 1984 and know they wouldn't have wanted to be in any Genre. They are the creators of a genre you believe to be "industrial"a creation of ,EBM and this,Skinny Puppy music , Environmental ,human rights ,animal rights ,libertarian created industrial .

  • lol at the ridiculous genre categorizations of fans of industrial, they're almost as bad as metal fans.

"No man, band x is DARK-DEATH-GRIND-SMASH-LURCH-TECH-FREAK-CORE"

    awesome band, awesome song.

  • I agree.

    Categorization is infantile.

    Music is music.

    Dogshit is dogshit.

    It's a free country.

    Feel what you feel.

  • almost, but not quite close.

  • I think it's a shame that people think of these guys and others like them as freaks. I wish people that were born with a gold spoon in their mouths knew the struggles of people that most people would consider psycotic or just insane. I wish more people knew of skinny puppy and understood them like we do

  • thanks electrigger for posting this.

  • Skinny Puppy grow on you like an addiction, once you love them, you are consumed, in a way it's a shame about how rare you meet people who actually like them, their always vilified about their shock in harsh art but as a musician the depths of creative genies and sound production is phenomenal.

  • @leeahare I to love skinny puppy and this is from a Duran Duran obsessed girl lol but I adore Ogre and Skinny puppy i grew up with them cause my brother and have loved them ever since they are genius very talented u are so right how people judge them i just love love them cant get enough !!!! would love to see them live !!!

  • @leeahare You are so right I just Lovee them !!!!! love Ogre love the music and im a total eighties pop girl but just cant get enough of these guys :)

  • ahhh 16 years of the great skinny puppy

  • Abraxas!

  • Whats that tatoo on Ogre's wrist of?

  • it's a form of swastika (nothing to do with nazis for those who might misunderstand). i think it also has some affiliation with the idea of abraxis. if you look at it, it is sort of like two four-legged animals with heads sticking up, tails sticking out & joined at the hoof, "the lamb and the goat" if you will.

  • its a symbol derived from the process church of the final apocalypse, the four horns of the apocalypse

  • blesssssssssssssssss!

  • Waren schöne 2 Tage, aber leider nur ein einmaliges Festival.Dies war eines der Höhepunkte, mein absoluter aber Sisters.Diese dann wieder im Februar 2009.

  • You will be always remeber as canadians heores

  • Nivek is just so damn good to look at.

  • I don't give a fuck who invented what or who was earlier. I love Skinny Puppy.

  • who the fuck cares who pioneered it, listen to the music. thats more important

  • I do care. Shut the F***k up and listen to the music, that's more important that insulting and reading messages. lol

  • SKINNY PUPPY: Pioneer of industrial music.

  • Yeah.

  • r u sure that u'r sure? mmm...not really convicing.. Why don't u just admit that front242 is the thing, all the other so-called industrial bands try soo hard but they don't get there! something so much more about it. if u need i'll give u some clues to its understanding

  • Let me tell u that Skinny puppy with Front 242 , front line assembly , ministry and many more, all were pioneer but all of them are below Kraftware are the father of all electonic music

  • that's Kraftwerk. very influencial indeed, but did not invent ebm.

  • Front 242 invented EBM period

Skinny Puppy and FLA(Front Line Assembly) pionnerd Electro-Industrial and some Industrialica(Industrial Electronica) Throbbing Gristle was the frist to invent Industrial musix, and Kraftwerk didnti nvent electromic music there was milion before, but TG was the first to invent Indutrial, WHICHI SNT ELECTRONIC MUSIC DUMBASSES. SO FUCK KRAFTWERK. PERIOD.

PS- Front 242 was more influent than Kraftwerk, epseicalya EBM/Electro PERIOD.

  • They were Great.. BUT Caberet Voltaire, Throbbing Gristle and Virgen Prunes were earlier...

  • Carbarat Voltaire invented Darksynth and Industrial Rock not Industrial, ANDD DARKSYNTH which is the Göth music that Skinny Puppy does+their own TG (REAL) ELectro-industrial pionering not inventing. Electro-Industrial is an evolution of EBM which IS invented by Front 242...period.

  • @MagnitudePerson Actually Cabaret Voltaire were recording strange noise tracks in 1974, Throbbing Gristle started just after that. Monte Cazazza coined the phrase Industrial Music fr Industrial people in 1975 and led to Industrial records owned by Throbbing Gristle. The person who coined the term Electronic Body Music was Ralf Ralf Hütter of Kraftwerk to explain the sound of their 1978 release The Man Machine in an interview.

  • @evad520 Genesis P-Orridge. check out this book called modern primatives.think it was published by Research or something like that. has an article about TG.

  • @MagnitudePerson lol stop making up genres "darksynth" does not exist, its industrial god damn it! you kids and your over classification of music these days I swear.......

  • No, it was Throbbing Gristle. They invented the term, the genre, and the record label.

    Learn to History.

  • Luigi Russolo came out with this idea/genre first in 1913, then followed by Pierre Henri. Marie Schaeffer debuted in 1958 in the same genre.

So don't try to show-off your limited knowledge here by saying:"learn history". By the way trhobbing gristle came out in 1977.

    CASE CLOSED!!.

  • Wasn't Einsterzben Nuebaten (however the hell you spell the bands name) out before Throbbing Gristle?

  • No, Throbbing Gristle was the first, way before Einstürzende Neübaten(The buildings that collapse/collapsed...) invented Industrial music. Period. They actually help inventing Dark Ambient, etc. and ALL HARSH ART PERFOAMNCE ART.

  • I bit Ogre`s mic-wire at Melkweg, Amsterdam at the Greater Right of the Wrong tour a couple years ago. he threw a solid handful of fake blood, mud and camouflage paint in my face! WE HAD A BLAST!

  • A night I will always remember. Hail to the raingods of Dresden!

  • I was there and will never ever forget it! One of my best live experinces ever, this song being one of my favourites!

  • really amazing presentation, SP will be the greatest electro-dark bands in the music history, i love them! the live act is like pandemonium mood and apocaliptic moment, here is a Prototy of GOD! men.are.bad see history

  • kár, hogy idén a Szigeten nem játszották ezt a számot:-( Skinny rulez! from hungary

  • SP is in a league of their own. I'm sure some people want to argue this, just argue and here themselves babble...this is irrelavant to me though--they've always been ahead of the game, always.

  • Look at that crowd! Amazing! what I would do to see that...

  • OMG! So great to see that song finally! I was there, first row and will never forget that show! I´ve searched for the (whole) video since seven years now. Is there any chance you can help me?
