Monte Cazazza coined the phrase Industrial Music fr Industrial people in 1975 and led to Industrial records owned by Throbbing Gristle. The person who coined the term Electronic Body Music was Ralf Ralf Hütter of Kraftwerk to explain the sound of their 1978 release The Man Machine in an interview.

Luigi Russolo came out with this idea/genre first in 1913, then followed by Pierre Henri. Marie Schaeffer debuted in 1958 in the same genre.
