  • how can someone look so beautiful and have such a beautiful voice.emmy is the most beautiful actress i know.in the phantom of the opera she was brilliant.by the way,is this she singing

  • who sings this song??

  • 2:14 HAI ERIK! 8}

Oh, I love Anneliese Van Der Pol! Her voice is so beautiful.

  • I love this song

I loce the Anneliese van der Pol version, but I have to say that Helen Reddy is the queen behind this beautiful ballod

  • @janetfan2010

    Helen Reddy FTW

  • Helen Reddy's version (the original) brings tears to my eyes every time.

  • Ok, well I guess it makes sense that she's not singing this, even though I thought she was a t first. She sings opera and classical stuff so yeah. But a great song still. I like Emmy's voice too!

  • she dosent only sing opera!!! listen to her song Slow Me Down is that opera to you!!

  • wow this cover isn't bad. who knew the girl from that's so raven could sing this.

  • It seems that practically nobody read the info section about how this is NOT Emmy singing XD Yikes.

But, on the other hand OMFG WHAT?! This is Chelsea from "That's So Raven"?! OMFG! I'm impressed. Still think I like Helen's better if only because her's doesn't have the back-up singers. They're irritating.

  • I'm a little disappointed. I thought it would be Emmy Rossum singing, but it's just a video with Emmy Rossum in it and some girl from Disney singing the actual song.

  • I agree no one could beat Reddy's....her's is beautiful.

  • Perfect for an elevator, in other words desperately dreary. Helen Reddy is the only one for this classic. Good bye Emmy and Hello Helen.

  • This is NOT Emmy singing.

  • I think She's really good!

  • As much as I love Helen Reddy's original performance of this sng and prefer it as well, this version is actually quite good. Rossum made the song her own.

  • Ha ha Ha, you bouncy ball

  • i'd be in that 5% XD Jonas Brothers suck

  • This version is nice but the german version "Lichtschein auf dem wasser" (also on youtube) sung by Katja Ebstein is still the best. Ebstein even clearly outsings Helen Reddy!

  • This is a nice version, but nobody can beat Helen Reddy's version.

  • so true! but for a teenager, she does quite a good job

  • I think helen has way too much vibrato its annoying, i think the song is better suited for a guy

  • Bring on Helen Reddy...please!

  • She Stole my name. Mine's Just spelled differently

  • what movie is this????This looks romantic

  • Nola

  • gee, thanks!

  • Wow... this version of the song is so unbelievably overwrought and cheesy. Awful.

  • This is a nice version but I still prefer the original by Helen Reddy for "Pete's Dragon."

  • i love this song. annelise van der pol sings it better than the original, and makes it twice as magical

  • ok. The girl who's singing this has a pretty voice, but the accompaniment is retarded. Sorry.

  • Your right it the accompaniment sucks! Shes good though.

  • her voice is SO beautiful and she is gorgeous!

  • love this song! its so magical!!!!

  • This isn't a comment about the song or the singer, both are just fine. I just thought how sad it is that there isn't enough talent to write new songs since this one will always be associated with Pete's Dragon. There was a time in Hollywood where they were making musicals upon musicals. They would reuse songs for sure but not when the movie only had one key song. Couldn't they have found someone, anyone, talented enough to write a new song? Couldn't be THAT expensive. Jacko needs work.

  • She has a beautiful voice!!

  • who's ben? forgive me for for sounding ignorant...

  • In Emmy Rossum movie Nola, ben plays her love intrest. Since most of the clips to make this video was from that movie, I based it on that stroyline

  • Shes wonderful, shes beutifaul, But i still hear that it isent her :S But i love her ( a) <3

  • this is not her singing this song, the information is listed in the description box.

  • uhm, thats just what ive said? i said but i still her it isent her, that means that i can hear its not her singing, lol

  • This was my dance recital song :)

  • This song kind of sounds like her even though it isnt her. I luved her in phantom of the opera!!!! She is sooooooo beautiful!!!!

  • @LAXluva27 it is her.....

  • Thanks!

  • I haven't seen her in anything except Phantom of the Opera. I think she was in a Disney show when she was younger. I can't remember what it is though. If anybody knows, please tell me.

  • she was in the disney movie that was made for tv called Genius. Its not played anymore because it was not that popular, but you can find it on youtube i think.

  • she was also in the movie the day after tomorw

  • And she was also in the 2006 version of "Poseidon".

  • Why did she straighten her hair?!?!:(

  • At :41, the whole scene is just like Ella Enchanted when Char and Ella are at the giant's party.

  • Sometimes she reminds me of Anne Hathaway.

  • She reminds me too of her sometimes. LOL!

  • Ditto.

  • yea she does.. she also looks like a young julia roberts kind of.

  • yes! i always think that too. finally no one evers sees it but i do.

  • This is from Pete's Dragon (Disney)

  • anyone know what movie this is?

  • These clips are from Nola,Phantom of the Opera, and The Day After Tomorrow.

  • And the music is from Disney Mania 4, but the original song is from Pete's Dragon sung by Helen Reddy.

  • i luv this song

  • OOOO! This song is from a really old Disney movie called Pete's Dragon! I haven't seen it in forever, but it's a good movie from what I remember

  • Did you know Annelies Van Der Pol sang this, too? (She's Chelsea on "That's So Raven".) She's good, too.

  • she must of been thinking of the phantom of the opera when she wrote this. very obvious like. :P

=] nice job. nice one ;]

  • Actually two people, Al Kasha and an amazing guy named John Hirschhorn, wrote this song over two decades ago. Hirschhorn wrote other songs like "The Morning After" from The Poseidon Advanture and "We may never love like this again" from the Inferno.

Rossum just did a remake of the song. Just to let you know. :-)

  • i sang this song and uploaded it on here.. just click on meh channel. though i'm probly as good as Annelise Van Der Pol though...but ya come see it!

  • This song is being sung by Annelise Van Der Pol....disney mania 4 is the cd it's on i believe.

  • Whoever is singing it did well, but I still prefer the original version on the Pete's Dragon soundtrack...but hey I saw the movie in the theatre in first-run!

  • This song gives me high hopes for my new love ^_^

  • This song is helping me through the distance me and my love with have to go through. He is going away to college, and we have to bear the long distant relationship. I can relate to this song.

  • no this isnt anneliese. it IS emmy rossum. guarantee you. I dont know why emmy hasnt had more mainstream success (YET) maybe because she hasnt gotten into running around wearing no underwear or OD-ing or going to rehab, but shes gonna be big sometime soon, mark my words.

  • I am a huge fan of Emmy Rossum as well but this is Annaliese. This song is on 'Disney Mania 4' with her name. Check on google if you want to make sure. ;)

  • Beautiful....

    Love it =) =)

  • Every one has the right to an opinion of her work! Being really a bit nasty about her work seems pointless. Why bother. Go to a site where you enjoy the performer. Also, this is not a political site, is it?

Emmy is a lovely, talented, sweetheart of a person. Her POTO performance was deepl moving, beautifully done. Her new CD is filled with heart. Her future with 4 films and Broadway will show her maturing gifts! Kudos to her!!!

  • no it is not her. its Anneliese van der pol from thats so raven.

  • *lol*

Of course I point out a little hypocrisy, and I'm accused of taking away your right of free speech. Nice.

  • this song makes me happy :o) and i think she does a really good job of respecting the original in the way she does this. props!

  • What a Lucky Guy!

  • love it makes me wanna cry

  • Yes, Helen Reddy sang it in Pete's Dragon's version.

  • this was in the disney kids film Pete's Dragon.

  • could you possibly send me this song? its amazing! AND the video is awesome :D xx

  • i sang this song in chours!

  • This song sounds like--- what??? There was a group from the early 70's that had this sound... Anyhoo... It's a good sound...

  • reminds me a little of the carpenters

  • Perhaps Diana Ross ("Touch Me In The Morning") or Dionne Warwick(any of her Burt Bacharach songs)...

  • emmy is absolutely drop dead gorgeous, turn your-head-around-look-twice stunning

  • even though i'm a girl, i have to agree with you.

  • I'm a girl too, lol. Did that sound like a male comment haha? I've always admired her looks and originality in Hollywood, and that sentence just seems to spring to mind when i see her.

  • um... who's ben?

  • I know this is a pretty song but i freaking hate is because i had to do a ballet number to this song and it gets very old believe me!!!!

  • i cant understand how someone can think that this is Emmy Rossum singing this it sounds nothing like her. This is Anneliese Van Der Pol from That's so Raven. She recorded this for Disneymania 4 i think it was. Also Anneliese was the last person to play Belle on broadway^_^. But i do also love Emmy and her voice PotO is on of my fav musicals

  • she sure sounds and looks like she would be a great belle. it'd be awesome to see her on stage. disney's great! haha. i think what i just said comes off sounding sarcastic, but it's not, so yea.

  • does anyone by chance have the instrumental for this?

  • Petes dragon

  • petie boy

  • What Lifetime movie is this?

  • Nola

  • i love emmy.

she has a beautiful voice and she is soooo pretty.

  • she is soo pretty

  • where did u get the song?

  • try Pete's Dragon maybe :)

  • No, it is Anneliese Van Der Pol.

  • the song was awsome but the video wasn't that cool, I expected more =(

  • this singing belongs to Annelise Van der Pol, she recorded this song for disney mania 4

  • There's water in this song, but no walrus head! To see a walrus head watch the Slow Me Down clip... it's right at the end!

  • It is her. She has a lovely voice. I wish I would've been able to see her in Beauty and the Beast before it closed on Bway.

  • you guys are soo lame!!!1thats emmy rossum!!!!those imbecils cant sing liek that!

  • Ok, first off, they're right, this is sung by Annelise Van Der Pol not Emmy Rossum. The video is about Emmy Rossum. Read the notes about this video supplied by the person that posted the video. Stop calling people names.

  • wtf are you talking about its not the chick from thats so raven your an idiot

  • They know it's Emmy. They're talking about Annelise Van der Pol singing the song. duh.

  • WOW?! Chelsea can really sing! Better than Raven!

  • Her name is Annelise right?

  • Ah!! you're SO righT!

  • lmaoo no it isent.

  • What's "LifeTime"..??

    Chealsea's [?] voice is AWESOMEEE!!

  • lol Lifetime is a network for women.

  • she was in a lifetime movie? i didn't know. When did it air? I wanna see it. Anyone know of an online link i can watch it at?

  • this is the girl from thats so raven..........duh

  • oh its the That's so Raven girl, she rocks, thanks for the correction

  • That's definitely NOT her singing.

  • is that Emmy singing?

  • No, its Anneliese Van Der Pol from That's So Raven.

  • I like Helen Reddy's version of this better. She sang this same song in "Pete's Dragon" years ago.

  • She has perfect pitch and left High School to sing.

  • finally just her beatiful voice instead of that dital stuff, this is wonderful

  • so beautiful

  • She sounds like she is 30 something.

  • exaclty, emmy is so skinny like keira

  • Also, sweetie, she has gained weight and is looking quite healthy. Healthier than most. I think it wise to point out the too thin actresses. They are dangerous to themselves, and the image for young women today.

  • shes sooo thin. anyone know her height/weight?

  • I don't know those specifics, but she apparently suffers from the auto immune disorder celiac disease which makes her intolerant to gluten and unable to eat starchy foods. That's probably why. It's funny, she bashes "thinny-thin" actresses and she's so thin herself. Doesn't appear to be voluntary, though.

  • I love Emmy to death, she is beautiful and she rocked Phantom, but this song is awful. I love the Helen Reddy version - I grew up on Pete's Dragon and was prepared to love this but it's awful. It's cheesy as hell. It's too Disney movie and I'm talking about something that's from a Disney movie. I can hear the overacting in the audio.

    Yuckkkkkk.

  • This is one great Music Video and Anneliese Van Der Pol sounds awesome!

  • THE BIT AT THE BEGINNING (and all the bits where she is in that orange dress with straight hairr) IS FROM A FILM CALLED NOVA!

    Its so romantic! Watch it!

  • Watch me singing on my videos:) comment!

    lovzz

  • The film is called Nola(2003 Nola ...Nola), but i cant find it. Who knows where i find this film?

  • It plays on lifetime, its a TV movie but rarely plays

  • that was gr8! *0*

  • What movie is this from?

  • What movie is this video from?

  • i do not know but i woud like to see it

  • I LOVE EMMY ROSSUM!!! SHE'S SO COOL!!! and a GREAT singer *0*

  • Ah I hate her!! lol why does she have to be so disgustingly beautiful?!

  • she is what she is

  • Does she play the piano herself?

  • yes i think she does i do not know

  • love the song and the song goes well with the video

  • Really well made and the song works with the images in such a great way. But, who is Ben?

  • omg shes soo pretty.

wasnt she is phantom of the opera?

  • yes i have the dvd and i love it i canhit the notes she can

  • This was really good. How do you make these?

  • hott girl...

  • Does anyone have the lyrics?

  • Nice variation of the song, I sang it in middle school and Emmy is down right amazing, she's certainly an idol!!

  • Emmy annoys me, but MAN, is she gorgeous.

  • Ever since I heard this song in Pete's Dragon when I was a little girl it's been my favorite from the movie. It kind of chokes me up, though. :) I love the video you put with it. Please, keep up the good work!

  • cute song, cute vid

  • I Love This song!!!!

  • Really Good

  • I like it its really good.

  • I thought this was really sweet, I loved the clips you matched with the lyrics. I've loved this song since I heard it in Pete's Dragon, and I think how you matched it with the video was really appropriate.

  • that waz absolutely amazing!!!!you hav done fantastic videos on Emmy, and this one is spectacular, good job!

  • Wow Stephanie! That was awesome! Emmy is just so sweet. She must have been really young when she was in "Nola". I guess she's lucky enough to have that "older and more mature look" about her.
