I don't know if anyone is trying to "push" black women towards dating outside of our race.. As a black man I realize and understand that a lot of my fellow brethren are irresponsible (6 kids with 7 different women) etc, so we as black men need to bear some of the blame for black women not marrying at the same rate as your white counterparts..
I agree with every single thing you said. I really hate that statistics are always divided into racial groups percentages. I hate that african- american is always compared to whites and what they are doing. We are a minority, at least compare the black racial group to other minorities, hispanics, asian, indian, etc. Media always comparing all minority groups to the white race, when the white race supposedly makes up 70% of the US according to statistics.
I just read an article on CNN that got me thinking and reminded me of this video. Usually when these statistics (if you believe them) are taken, "single" includes women that are in relationships, engaged, divorced, or widowed. It's not that 70% of black women have no insignificant other, it's just that they haven't gotten married (or remarried) yet.

Hi, I agree with this video. But I actually think the stats & studies are ways to make black men date interracially. The media does not glamorize black love, black couples have less popularity. Interracial couples like Seal/Heidi, etc are constantly in the media. Subliminal messages. I also think its a way to cause division/confusion in our race and even an attempt to someway somehow stop us from "multiplying." Divide and conquer methods.

I came to the conclusion that all this attention given to black women is another smoke screen. Black Men always think it is about them but it really is about us. What i'm sayin is that if there is someone that is within your own interest we should really look pass the color of that person's skin and except that person for who they are. I agree...Miseducation is the key to this mess. Lack of self knowledge, lack of gender roles and cultural norms/functuality. Patriarchy and male supremacy has got us in this problem. There is a need to harmonize in relationships and not focus on dominating. I agree with every single thing you said. I really hate that statistics are always divided into racial groups percentages. I hate that african- american is always compared to whites and what they are doing. We are a minority, at least compare the black racial group to other minorities, hispanics, asian, indian, etc. Media always comparing all minority groups to the white race, when the white race supposedly makes up 70% of the US according to statistics.

I just read an article on CNN that got me thinking and reminded me of this video. Usually when these statistics (if you believe them) are taken, "single" includes women that are in relationships, engaged, divorced, or widowed. It's not that 70% of black women have no insignificant other, it's just that they haven't gotten married (or remarried) yet.

Hi, I agree with this video. But I actually think the stats & studies are ways to make black men date interracially. The media does not glamorize black love, black couples have less popularity. Interracial couples like Seal/Heidi, etc are constantly in the media. Subliminal messages. I also think its a way to cause division/confusion in our race and even an attempt to someway somehow stop us from "multiplying." Divide and conquer methods.

First of all, I love black women. One of the reasons I feel black women have difficulty finding good black men is because they don't open themselves up more. I see sisters at clubs and parties never smiling and always having an attitude. This is from my personal experience. Black women need to create the energy and atmosphere to find a good mate. All I ask is the sisters smile more and say hello. This is what the white girls do and why did get black men. I love black women

ATL SIS...i agree very much with your vid. they are DEFINITELY promoting this black man/non-black woman mess. and in response, black women are becoming more and more open to dating "out". And i have to say, that shit is working cuz in NY, i see black men with non-black women AAAALLL day, EVERY day! The Amerikkkan school system has been indoctrinatng blk children since its inception to believe tht they r inferior and limited n wht they can become. Doesnt always work, but does work alot. I now there is nothing wrong in dating your own race. What i'm sayin is that if there is someone that is within your own interest we should really look pass the color of that person's skin and except that person for who they are. It's true that the media make such a big crazy deal about the dating scene of black women which i believe is wrong. but if you are interested fully in that person and the only thing that is blocking is skin color i believe you should take a chance to get to know them.

You know we are all lab rats for someone. I'm completely for interracial breeding. I wished everyone was mixed so that there were one less reason for people to hate each other. You do have a point however.. We are all created equal in God eyes. People also need to understand that it is the person of those pacific interest and qualities that we need to look at, but instead some of us pass that oppurtunity just because the person is not black. Then some of us wonder why we can't find mr. right. We have to open our minds and leave our options open to find happiness because not nobody is making you miserible but yourselves. I agree...Miseducation is the key to this mess. Lack of self knowledge, lack of gender roles and cultural norms/functuality. Patriarchy and male supremacy has got us in this problem. There is a need to harmonize in relationships and not focus on dominating. This is a problem, because patriarchy does not work well in black communities as we originally come from a matriarchy and black women will not be dominated like their white counterparts.

Yes..I agree. A lot of Black people ae not able to relate to each other because many of them have lost connection/never had with themselves. Moverover, they do not know their role in relationships or the community as a whole. The most noticible problem is patriarchy and the disrespect of black females and sexuality.
