ha many people and most maps wont show wyoming in tornado alley but we have very active tornado weather in wyoming vortex 2 for example today they were back in goshen county
My chase partners Doren Berge, Warren Faidley and I were waiting for the "tail-end-charlie" storm(s) in the southern Nebraska panhandle when this tornado began. Once we heard that it was happening, we drove up there asap. We encountered other huge updrafts along the way...every one of them were tilting drastically. Any one of them could have tornadoed. The storm in this vid eventually crossed into Nebr. and kept rotating violently. A huge number of Vortex crews were there documenting it all.
Yes, I remember that just after that tornado, when I looked back at the radar image and could see several rotating storms in the vicinity, I though " wow, this is going to be a tornado outbreak!". So finally I was quite surprised to see that no other tornado was spotted in these storms.
Basically there are 3 chasers in the car , two of them are rather calm, the third one is very scared. Vincent is driving and Dean is filming. Their plan was to cut south to pass in front of the tornado but there was a moment of panic because there were two cars side by side blocking the road and they did not move, so that slowed them down in their attempt to drive south. Once they passed the tornado, they get in rain/hail/RFD, Vincent ( the driver) wants to slow down to film some video.
It really seems, that one of the three chasers get seriosly in panic and is yelling around: "continue!" = "go ahaed! / "a droite" = "on the right side (of us)" / "en arrière" = "right behind us".
The others pleased him to calm down a bit...... no chance!
I think the guy's name is Nicolas Gascard. He's a well known storm chaser in France. It''s funny because in one of his promotional videos, he claims that, unlike most storm chasers, he's not afraid going right into the storm...

photoshopped. I can tell because there was no cow flying in the air nor any water towers flying in the air either.
