I'm emo and I'm efin sick of people thinking I'm the kind of emo where it's just a stage. This song reminds me of me right now. Yes I hurt myself but emo and self harm are two different things! OMFG everyone at my school thinks my life suckes because I'm emo. Well it doesn't! My life is kinda good at least I have a boyfriend most emos don't! So haha!

This song reminds me of myself when I was really deep in depression.
I used to scratch the skin off myself whenever I got upset and angry. It wasnt a pain thing but an obsession with control. When my life spiraled out of control I learned that there was one thing I could control
my pain
But seeing how it affected my family and those I loved, I learned how to stop, and I think I'm a better person because of all that.

@Brandywt22 I know, it is so extremely anoing when people say that being EMO and hurting yourself is the same thing... but it is two completely different things, like EMO is short for emotional and selfinjury is accoualy a call for help and a mental disorder as you said.
