  • I'm a 21 year old makeup artist still in training but I want to take gymnastics classes just for fun (floor exercises only), I'm want to be a film actress and most actors don't use stunt doubles anymore. I have erb's palsy in my left arm and I'm afraid of injuring myself during back handsprings and I want to get a role in action films. Like every child, i can perform cartwheels and round offs but I want to do more than that if . Please help me

  • Wow this is incredible! I have Erb's Palsy in my left shoulder and I am 22 years old. I never had surgery, did your daughter? My parents discouraged me from doing sports because they were afraid I'd further my injury but I just recently joined a Crossfit gym. I'd recommend it to anyone with this injury!

  • @ccampanile2189 no surgery. And gymnastics has done more for her that PT ever could have. My son does crossfit too, excellent workout.

  • Great job! Glad your daughter is doing so well. Seems she has a lot more movement, strength and control than I ever had. I'm so happy for her that she can do gymnastics!

  • I have erbs palsy in my right arm and my shoulder blade is popping out all the time I chose to go with soccer because its easier not to us my arm

  • @wzuppitbullz doing gymnastics has really helped her keep the shoulder blade in place. It develops the muscles around it so they hold it in place.

  • i have Ernst palsy too! You all know how it feels to those who have it.It tries to stop you but you just keep moving.

  • I'm very happy for your daughter that her Erb's Palsy is not as severe as mine. She is able to do what I dreamt of doing at her age! Good job, keep going. I saw the title and just HAD to see what she could do.

  • @mary61 check out her other videos on my channel. She is a higher level now and can do even more. God bless you and keep following your dreams!

  • @mary61 She is awesome!! My daughter did gymnastics too but chose to quit at level 5 because she just couldn't get past the thought of doing a back walkover on the beam lol!! This little girl....welll....every time, and Kim I know I always say this BUT, I always cry when I see her do the bars because I KNOW how hard it is for her. She is AMAZING!!!!!!! Hands down amazing!!

  • I'm glad to see this I have Erbs Palsy in my left arm and it never stopped me from playing sports I made varsity football and wrestling when I was in high school and I was good at it to so keep up the good work :D

  • this video made me feel so good.. i got tears in my eyes. my daughter was born with Erb's Palsy in her right shoulder and arm also. she is only 3. and it is truly an inspiration to see a child able to do the bars at gymnastics with the same condition! your daughter has given me hope that it is possible for her to follow any dream! no matter her disability!

  • i have erbs pulsy im doing research with my mom to find a surgeon because where i live no doctors know what erbs palsy is. i would probably have to go out of state to get the surgery done.

  • @apinkrose2000 I had all my surgies out of state two in VA and the rest in Texas my doctors are wonderful and very caring people look up stuff in Houston there are a med team that is just for people like us

  • God bless you sweet heart. You've really done a great job and I hope to see you @ the olympics soon.

  • Very good job!

i have brachial plexus injury too.

    regards from italy

  • You go girl, I have the same thing and i used to do gymnastics. I HOPE your in the Olympians to prove that anybody can do ANYTHING. :D Your AWESOME

  • I have Brachial Plexis from an injury at birth. God bless your daughter

  • good job!

I have LOBPI and did competitive figure skating until I was 28.

  • very good job!

  • nice, very nice job!

  • thats amazing....all the best for your daughter

  • That was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My daughter has the exact same injury, same arm/shoulder. She just entered level 4 on June 15. She still doesn't have her pullover. Our gym was nice enough to allow her into their TOPS program. While I know that my daughter will never compete for that, it really helps with the strenght issues.

    It's bitter sweet, huh?

  • She also just entered level 4 this June. She does an additional strength and conditioning class too. The shoulder blade no longer "dislocates" in certain positions, but I think that telltale twist in her wrist and arm will always be there. We call it her "Lucky Fin" just like Nemo.

  • Ah great to see that, good job!

  • i was sentenced to bpi and i would have to say that was amazing.

  • You rock bean!
