  • Aren't they just the cutest little things??????

  • I want a Zanti ant lol

  • These things are still one of the most creepy things ever put on screen.

  • It was at 47:27 in the clip where most millitary historians agree that this was the crucial turning point that tipped the scales in favor of the humans in this epic battle for galactic supremacy.

  • The human-faced alien ants, are (forced opinion upon) hate groups, we must stomp them flat!

    "Truth is stranger than fiction!"

FEAR, EMPTINESS, DESPAIR. destroy what destroys you...(do or die)!

  • Excellent episode. I love these classics.

  • Even on the planet Zanti, they be puttin Niggas in jail.

    Wussup wit dat?

  • THIS IS THE AGE OF THE ZANTI MISFITS !!!!! LOL

  • @edybeast the other day I see this Zanti ship parked outside of Home Depot and... hahaha

  • damn, were those Mexican Zantis all packed into that ship and getting into our borders?

  • When I was a kid, I believed that Zantis existed and that the U.S. Military has taken care of them. Now that I am older, I believe that the neurotic-looking woman who broke through with the imbecile into the Zanti landing area is far more frightening. She looks like a lush with a hangover and her attitude is that of an overacting actress, but back then in the early 1960's, this sort of thing was the norm just like the female in Roger Corman's THE WASP WOMAN.

  • Damn @46:41--talk about commitment!

  • Another comment now that I've watched it to the end. I also loved home this and Twilight Zone often ended with a lesson learned. They always gave us food for thought, unlike todays show where you GTL or DTF really don't quite cut it. Again thanks for the upload.

  • It's funny how my daughter (13yrs) laughs at these type of old tv series, including the Twilight Zone. She wonder how did these things creep me out.....I always reply to her that we didn't have all the "computer generated hi-tech" effects they have today. And you know what? I like these classics better. Thanks for the upload.

  • hey dudes i love bugs get over it huh

there goatees are so cute you got to love them seriously

  • hey dudes i love bugs get over it huh

  • Ants with goatees? Give me a hand grenade!!!

  • this epi totally freaked me out when i was a kid

  • lol at the moment where the soldier with the rifle sees one of the zanti, backs away, then the soldier behind him shoves that guy out of the way and shoots the ant at point blank range. XD

  • It's funny when they show them at a "distance" shot. You can tell they are being moved by a stick or some such. It's funny and corny, and also looks kind of cute. hehe

  • i knew as soon as he backed up that he was going to ram that gate

  • Anyone else have the urge to feed that woman to the Zanti?

  • I grew up watching this series and after all these years, it's still timeless as ever.....

  • I could'nt eat spaghetti-o's for years after seeing this as a kid.

  • This is my favorite original Outer Limits episode. It's scary as hell!

  • anybody got a can of raid?

  • This episode scared the living bejeebers out of me as a kid.

  • LMAO i got a photo of one of them little buggers! got it at a scifi convention many years ago

  • '

what kind of computer control room in this video

  • LOVE the '63 Lincoln...Olive Deering was Alfred Ryder's sister, he was the alien "Baddie" in "The Invaders", & a professor in "Star Trek".

  • The end with the point blank shots & grenades... priceless ....XD

  • He he. . .ants in your pants. Must have run out of bic razors on Zanti.

  • As a kid, this one scared me the most! Thanks for posting the entire episode. If you play the tape backwards, they say: "Paul is dead."

  • Vic Perrin was the voice you heard that told you not to adjust your set. He was also a semi- regular in the Dragnet series.

  • Olive Deering was so perfect in this! And Bruce Dern was always great!

  • Cool, daddy! Dig them beatnik ants....OooooBop-a-re-bop! Death to the squares!! Hey, dig that crazy rifle butt! NO!! WEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

    Too cool!

  • This was not done with stop-motion. Those are actual creatures from another planet and it was filmed on location as it occurred by Naional Geographic.

  • @mikeschatname Ofcourse, man.

  • @mikeschatname I know they used to attck me in my backyard

  • Stop-motion ants with human faces...and little rubber props stuck to the walls of buildings and pulled around by thin lines.... no computer effects, and the creators of this classic series made you believe enough to feel the hee-bee jee-bees! Nothing like the' film noir' look of 1960's television!!!

  • @Titan52berg The early Dr. Who episodes achieved the same thing. With no special effects to speak of, they held the viewers' attention throughout with solid writing and performances. To some degree, it was because the medium was new, and nothing like Outer Limits or Dr.Who had ever been seen before!

  • I once had an auntie named 'Zanti',

Who drank herself full of chianti...

    She looked like a mess

when she took off her dress,

But then, she took off her panty!

  • ahhh yes we all got freaked out and scared by the zantis as a lad i always thought the ending was so cool they knew the humans would screw up and battle the misfits cant wait till james cameron remakes this one!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @brucedavis76 I hope so..

  • ……. I soooo want an art farm with these guys! ~ (•8-D

  • THAT'LL teach you to use bug spray on us!

  • As a child, I had many wonderful nightmares about this episode. I don't have any real nightmares any more, and I miss them. They are like old friends.

  • why did the zanti guard attack if the purpose was to destroy the misfits? was the zanti guard unaware of the plan too?

  • @izlude2

It's mentioned at the end the guard was also a "misfit".

  • @lartrak good point

  • I have always liked the original first season Outer Limits music. The scene where Bruce Dern is confronted by the Zanti slowly crawling up his arm, with the mounting music, and the sweating faces of the military guards listening in on the intercom while he pleads for help, powerless to help the man, is one of the most riveting scenes in this production, and still sends chills up my spine.

  • 6:47, every secret base has to have a pop machine (next to the computers) :)

  • Translate: "Bruce Dern is one hot man. Will eat alive."

  • Ah yes..The Ants with Beatnik Faces...scary

  • Anyone else think of Killer Instinct for a split second when the intro announcer spoke?

  • This episode of "The Outer Limits" is really a good one I used to watch these when I was a kid in the 60's.

  • Hey that's the same place where Captain Kirk kicked the Gorn's @rzz!! Co heekey co hom lock !

  • @USA999983 It's Vasquez Rocks outside Los Angeles.

  • The old syfi tv shows are always fun for me.

  • THAT WAS VERY CORNY BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @MADBEATSCRAZY It's from 1963 and had a television budget. What were you expecting, the movie Avatar?

  • dam this shit just freaky its like a giant bee mixed with an ant

  • I bet they got a pentecostal to do the alien language. Cause the alien language is made up for the show just like pentecostals make up fake languages and call it tongues.

  • practiced executioners.....

  • @johnnynoirman

doesn't that make us top dog in the universe then. one is either predator or prey in the food chain.

  • Yes it does and that's good feeling @CarlosOnBroadcast

  • Dang, I love the way those things scream when they die!

  • Comment removed

  • RAID WHEN THEY INVADE!!!

  • GREAT EPISIDE FROM A GREAT SERIES.

  • Evil creepy alien ants...

  • I love this episode so much, scared me to death when I first so it so long ago. Had the same effect on my own children 30 years later.

  • In time, Dad stopped letting me watch The Outer Limits because the shows gave me nightmares. I remember the 'ants' vividly !!!

  • Ditto! One of the best...

  • I saw this episode when I was a kid. It freaked me out!
