What you are opposing is mercantilism since you keep talking about corporations, which are the results of government erecting barriers to entry and favoring one firm over another, or specifically giving "bailouts" to one firm in industry X over another. Wrong. No firm has ever been able to institute a coercive monopoly where competition was restricted. Only by LAW by government ruling - has a firm monopolized a market by means of constrained competition. All coercive monopolies, in the US, Europe or anywhere else, were implemented by acts of government - special authorization, licenses, subsidies, etc. that forbade other firms from competing.
Non-coercive monopolies are entirely different. If, for example, a small town has only one drugstore, they would by definition have a "monopoly" in that area. If a company was able to win all the customers in a given field by sheer productive effectiveness, by their ability to keeps its costs low and offer a better product than any other company, there would be no legitimate grounds to denounce such a monopoly.

When the government managed these projects, there were so wasteful. Some projects in Michigan and Indiana were bankrupt after 3 years. These "internal improvements" were so disastrous that when Wisconsin became a state in 1848, Minnesota in 1858 and West Virginia, Nevada and Nebraska in the 1860s, their state Constitutions prohibited grants and loans to private companies. By 1861, that philosophy spread into the state constitution of Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Iowa, California, etc
And the reason why many Third World countries are sill third world is because a lot of the post-colonial governments have adopted a Marxist way of operating, and expropriating the means of production, which turned their economies into shit. Again, if there is no money, there are no markets to determine what should be produced, which would cause shortages. The reason is because shortages happen because the quantities of goods people want to buy exceed the quantity available. Reducing prices reduces profitability, which reduces supply. So reducing money, period, would be even worse. Makes it unprofitable for markets to increase production, which will lower supply, thus not as much being produced.

Capitalism does not need a government to exist because its based on the voluntarily exchange between individuals. What you are opposing is mercantilism since you keep talking about corporations, which are the results of government erecting barriers to entry and favoring one firm over another, or specifically giving "bailouts" to one firm in industry X over another. Wrong. No firm has ever been able to institute a coercive monopoly where competition was restricted. Only by LAW by government ruling - has a firm monopolized a market by means of constrained competition. All coercive monopolies, in the US, Europe or anywhere else, were implemented by acts of government - special authorization, licenses, subsidies, etc. that forbade other firms from competing.

Capitalism didn't only pull Europeans out of feudalism; it pulled any people that utilized it. Asian and African countries that are pulling themselves out of the Third World are the ones who are allowing more freedom in the market place and do not have the majority of the means of production in the hands of the government. Capitalism is not just beneficial to Europeans; it's beneficial to any country that adopts free market principles. Again, compare Botswana to Zimbabwe.

They most likely wouldn't be a third world if colonialization didn't create these barriers you were talking ab out. And lets get real here, when European systems started to infect the ideologies of pre-industrialized societies, they've created power struggles amidst them. Europeans felt they had the right to meddle with other peoples affairs before the grace of their god, and everyone else had to endure.
Causing conflicts in regions, whether accidentally or on purpose, hinders progress.

AGAIN, you fail to differentiate between capitalism and mercantilism. Imperialism and colonialism were done by governments, not free markets. Only governments can send armies into Africa, Asia and the Americas and steal their resources.

I will not stop equating them, because they're part of the same modernity. It is their tradition to be exploiters of resources. After all, it is not in their nature to ask people for the resources from their land. You forcefully take it, because you wish to use it in order to use the free market so that you may become wealthy.
For some, there is only so much money a person really needs. But for capitalists, it is important that ruthless qualities be shared amongst the ruling class.

Its not that i'm eqauting them in the same sense that you understand it. I am joining the two entities, not because they mean the same thing.. but because they are two different systems which are controlled by the same people. Perhaps not individually, but of the same nation, whose means to an end have to do with control.
The special relation of national communism and capitalistic governments is one of competitive control.
To compete against eachother, and both reap the resources in the process

But they are NOT the same thing at all. Mercantilism is where the government interferes, and as Woodrow Wilson said, "Since trade ignores national boundaries and the manufacturer insists on having the world as a market, the flag of his nation must follow him, and the doors of the nations which are closed against him must be battered down."
Capitalism is a free trade deal. Not forcing anything on anyone. It's all voluntarily. So the two are totally different.

Railroads in America. There was an entrepreneur named James Hill who started building railroads without the help of government, which is what CAPITALISM is. He built The Great Northern without the help of government, and paid people for their property if he wanted to go through their property. If people didnt want to sell, it was too bad for him. His railroads were also the most efficient at the time. That is how CAPITALISM works.

When the government managed these projects, there were so wasteful. Some projects in Michigan and Indiana were bankrupt after 3 years. These "internal improvements" were so disastrous that when Wisconsin became a state in 1848, Minnesota in 1858 and West Virginia, Nevada and Nebraska in the 1860s, their state Constitutions prohibited grants and loans to private companies. By 1861, that philosophy spread into the state constitution of Maine, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Iowa, California, etc

When you control money, after all.. you control government. And when you control government, you compete with other governments. That is Marxism.

Again, if there is no money, there are no markets to determine what should be produced, which would cause shortages. The reason is because shortages happen because the quantities of goods people want to buy exceed the quantity available. Reducing prices reduces profitability, which reduces supply. So reducing money, period, would be even worse. Makes it unprofitable for markets to increase production, which will lower supply, thus not as much being produced.

That would never work. So you're telling me that products in a society would be determined via vote? That's just outright silly. What if people vote that they all want Jacuzzis and diamond watches? What if 51% want commodity Z, and 49% want commodity Y, but there isn't enough resources to get both?
That makes no sense at all. I have an easier idea that works in the real world: free markets where INDIVIDUAL decide what they want.

Feudalism was just a precursor to capitalism. Right now we have another form of serfdom. Do you think people really want to live in tightly closed urban projects? Or in low cost housing encircled by broke down "formerly productive" cities that melted away due to outsourcing?
People can accept this structuralism of classification that you support, because they choose to survive. But if they had a chance to be free from all of this, i bet you they would try something different in a flash.

"Urban projects"? You mean those government-created housing projects? Why would you use that as an example to refute what I'm saying? The reason outsourcing is happening is the same reason you can shop around at different stores for commodities. Labor is a commodity, so firms can "shop around" for the lowest price of labor. People do have the freedom to not participate in this system.
