  • I can top this i had a 1988 holden its Australias GM manufacture Holden VN Commodore, and had good tyres, only found out both wheels had fucked bearings, just the day before having new Shocks fitted, i was testing its speed, out on an open road, im so lucky, i have the mechanics check every time i oil change.

  • i was cringing watching this, how did they not notice?

  • Pack it with grease get another good 10000 out of it.

  • @optixit you sure you got the right reply?

  • LOL, OMG, It didn't fall off either. That's crazy!!

  • lmfao WOW

  • its ok, it must be like this, its baja!

  • Would that make the Tire Wobble?

  • I seen one worse on a 1998 Ford Explorer 4x4,the owner claimed not to hear a noise coming out of the right front.I took the wheelbearing out in two pieces, nothing left of the wheel bearing which ruined the axle at the same time.Got lucky the spindle was not damaged at all.

  • Bohemian Rhapsody playing in the background. :)

  • Tire rod... I think I need a few of those. Do they sell them next to the high speed muffler bearings and headlight fluid?

  • @97stscaddy HEHE don't forget to replace the 'turbo encabulator', and the 'canuter valve' while you're in there!

  • @97stscaddy Would be a waste of money without a flux inhibitor....

  • WOW.... Aparentley the driver doesnt know the signs... lol... good thing ya got to it..

  • the main bolt can also be loose.... but its most likely the bearing.

  • @Hatinonthehaters if the bolt would be loose, the wheel would slide in to out not loose like that going in angles

  • looks good to me good for another 100.000 miles

  • had mine separate on me the other day while driving, thankfully the tire didnt come off. but i found the bearings in my yard after i had it towed back home

  • If that's how you test the wheel bearing, how do you test the ball joints then?

  • @daytonite122 instead of up and down, wiggle the tire side to side and have someone check tie rod endings for any play, if any, its bad and should be replaced a.s.a.p.

  • @daytonite122 same way. you have to look for play in the ball joint though. If it isnt moving, then it's the wheel bearing.

  • what bearing?

  • I would thank god if i would have drove this vehicle and remained in one piece.

  • Both of my front wheel bearings went humming at more or less the same time on a front wheel drive. I rode the car until I realised that the wheels had a lot of free play. Then I tightened the center bolt and still used the car for some time. When reversing whilst turning, there was a terrible shearing sound. At high speeds it was almost impossible to hear what someone says. Eventually I took the car to a specialist shop who replaced both hubs with bearings. The cost was not so high.

  • Hahahaha. Wow. I bet the guy said w.e and just turned up the stereo.

  • id say all holdin that wheel on was the CV axle nut

  • get me some duct tape. it'll be good as new directly.

  • I thought it looked like bad ball joints. My truck was doin the same thing and i changed the ball joints and that went away

  • My Ranger had that same problem. Turned out to be the lower ball joint.

  • 2 inches of play is about right...

  • i mean mine doesnt shake like this..maybe 5% of this..its a rear left..im thinking bearing is a little lose..should i be worried?

  • @PlayBoyx21 yes you should

  • i have a 2002 dodge startus r/t..anytime i drive on the freeway (60mph) i hear this weir noise on my left rear side..if i go faster or slower than that u cant hear anything..when i lifted up my car when i checked the tire movement u cant hardly move it, it sounds like something is loose but not that much..anybody??

  • looks like bad ball joints too........

  • wow thats fucked

  • Nice, Queen in the background

  • chevy shit

  • how can you be sure its a bearing and not a ball joint gone

  • Queen!

  • its a your cv joint \/\/\/\/\/

  • do bad wheel bearings make a popping noise when your driving? something broke on the rear end of my yukon and when i turn it pops really loud.

  • I' d say it's possibly something in the Rear Differential.

  • fuk it, runn her

  • haha i like the cut of your jib

  • lmfao hell yea...it aint fell off yet

  • holy...

That's alot of play for a bad wheel bearing.

  • @alexkills Are you out of your mind or just having a deathwish?

  • how do you know it's not a tire rod?

  • tie rod moves from side to side play and hub bearings move up and down play like you see on the video

  • @djbro16 If you watch you see the cv shaft moving about fairly freely. If it were the tie-rods this would not occur. Also if it were the ball joints this would not occur. The wheel bearing holds the cv shaft in place so obviously it has to have significant play in it.

  • @djbro16 durr a bad tie rod would'nt have up and down play as shown in the video

  • @djbro16 because the tie rod isn't moving.

  • @djbro16

    TIRE ROD!!!!!! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH!

  • @djbro16 the tir rod is fine he moved the wheel up and down... not side to side

  • That really does matter.

  • So you coordinated the wheel bearing check with Queen BH "nothing really matters?"

  • my quad did the exact thing but not nymore after some work on it

  • hey, NOTHING REALLY MATTERS!

  • lol, freddy mecury tash, and queen in the background, dude u rule :-)

  • Nope, I dont see nothing wrong to me.

Just put some air in the tires.

  • nah, no problem there, GM's do that from the factory, lmao

  • looks perfect!! haha.. yeah imma GM tech.. i change them things on trucks with over sized tires all the time... they are very easy to change..since they are a sealed assembly. ive got 38's on my 1500... they are still holdin strong... 100000 miles lol

  • Comment removed

  • no ? really ?

    lol

  • ive seen that happen on the E150. the bearing actually seized on to the spindle

  • gross! i bet its cuz them bigger tire an a great driver lol

  • good for another 100K miles. Spray it with WD40 and move on....

  • I bet that mechanic has a 10 inch.

  • @gavincurtis WD40 fixes anything.

  • @gavincurtis Lol! really? lol lol, we got a funny guy here

  • Really lol, we got a funny guy here

  • @gavincurtis Hahaha, i like that man!
