Bring a new WNBA team to Detroit (or buy the Tulsa Shock and build a new team from scratch)!

I don't feel as excited about the WNBA, although I still enjoy watching, without a Detroit franchise to watch.

I wish a WNBA team (or the Shock pre-2010) was still in Detroit. Tom Gores' thoughts on the WNBA or bringing a team to Detroit aren't public and remember Karen Davidson is still a minority owner to the Pistons.

I do and so do many people! BTW, Celtics in 07-08 couldn't quite do what the Shock did in 2003. Detroit was the WORST IN THE LEAGUE, Boston was 2ND WORST IN THE LEAGUE. Which explains why the Shock's turnaround is better than the Celtics'. Sure both became the best in the league and won the title the following season, but the Detroit Shock was about to fold or move to another city prior to that turnaround.
