  • hey i got a question,

    i have a 2001 Saturn sl2

is there a different way to do it to my car because i can barely even reach the wire, its so jammed packed in my motor

  • @OMGUSERFREAKINGNAME If you do not want to take the air pump and air box out of the way that only leaves taking out the headlight assembles to get at the wires.

  • @richpin06a Hey man thanks a lot i got it to work!! :)

  • Hey Rich, quick question, this is the passenger side, was the driver side more difficult? my saturn looks really empty on one side compared to the other. if so, how do you recommend tackling that issue?

  • @mrdrstandrew If you are working on the gen 2 saturn i would remove the air box then you will have the room you need to work.

  • @richpin06a good call, i drive the '98 2-door. thanks!

  • nice mod.. i jus did this to my 94 sl2 with no problems it took about 10min.. keep the vids comming rich!!

  • @jayjaydeal No question this is a good little safety mod.

  • this is genius!! i wanted to get that, so i ended up putting 6 LEDs in addition to the regular side marker bulb. it was a pain. this would be so much easier!!

  • he sounds like peter griffin LOL

  • @insertblackname lmao!!!! hahaha thats so true!!!

  • i spliced the black wire from the side marker with the blue from the turn signal but it made a loud buzz and blew my fuse. I replaced the signal fuse but didn't try again yet.

  • does this mod cause your sidemarkers to blow out prematurely???

  • well if u use led instead of these bulb then i dont see the problem

  • im not too good with electronics/wiring so let me get this straight. All u do is connect the black wire and attach it to the blue one? But then ur little diagram @ 1:00 seems to be more complicated than that

  • Nice vid. But what do you do with the other end of the wire you cut.. Thanks

  • Quick question: is this for gen 1 2 and 3? Or just for a certain gen? I haven't even looked, but I'm about to go do this if I can on my gen3. Thanks Rich!

  • I have not tested it on a gen 3 but i don't see why it wouldn't.

  • Hey thanks rich, it worked just fine on my gen3. Just had to remove some tape and get a little dirty, but just a quick splice on the right and left and everything was fine. Thanks again

  • @ndrone1 this seems like a cool idea, i need a bulb though...

  • i did this yesturday. sweet little mod i love it and i found out that if u connect T off the black(marker) one ur fuse will blow lol just thought id let u no

  • @mcduke226 i did exactly that. all fixed now.

  • Thanks again richpin for another great video. Thanks to you, I am able to fix my car!

  • haha wow cool man. Cool little mod.
