Heroic Sacrifices are in A LOT of stories. Some WAAAAAY before DBZ. If you can't appreciate each for what they are and feel the need to compare them, GO DO IT SOMEWHERE ELSE. Plus Wizardmon's, and later Saberleomon's death, stuck more then Piccolo's death. DBZ spams the revive button, where in digimon Angemon was the ONLY one to get a comeback within the same season.

Plus it was heatbreaking because at this point, Wizardmon changes as a character, going against his evil ways to help his friend Tailmon, and discovering that the Digidestined were truly good and worth fighting for, rather than against. It isn't until this scene however, that he shows that discovery, making it much harder to see him die.

Actually....the Crest of Light activated ages ago. It was when Hikari first gave herself up.

That's right, before she EVEN GOT IT.

The only thing she was missing was just the Digivice.

Notice her reacquisition of the device is what happens before Tailmon digivolves.

hmmm...you know i think i like the english version of this better...it gets a little jumpy right as he dies and you kind of wonder "wait...did he just die?" but the transition from all out battle to attacking kari is done better. here it seemed rushed.

I really love this scene, in Danish, English, Japanese, whatever language it is in.. Just one of the great moments in anime, and one of them I always will remember as one of my all time favourites

I like english because the voice actor playing wizardmon sounded perfect and I thought the background music was alright.

This part was good to becasue the muscis was some times there and than silet and it got sad.

If you knew English properly and understand emotions then watching this in the Dub along with Wormmon's death from Season 2 can be very emotional or touching to some people. I remember my friend was in tears when he saw this part.
