@TheCelticTiger32 Do you people realize how long "Puss in Boots" been around? He was around way before "Shrek" was even thought about. I'm talking the late 1600's. The only reason people think "Puss in Boots" originated from "Shrek" was because until "Shrek" came along, you really didn't see him to much.(Or at least I didn't) And there wasn't allot of spotlight on him as a character alone. "Puss in Boots is actually a French tale.

Like nowadays young kids thing Disney tought of all the classic fairytales, cinderella etc. But the sad truth is that for example the German brothers Grimm wrote it more than a hundred years ago, but somehow Disney got a license on it. Really sad, and I hope we dont see the same trend in the music industry where a lot of good classic songs get sampled and many people believe the artist made it himself.
