Luck is not needed when you know what you're doing. I understand exactly why some people bring others who try to succeed down, heck, my own family did it to me. But I don't take it personally nor do I allow that to hold me down (I talk about external circumstances not affecting you as a way to happiness and success). I heard that whenever someone attempts to make change, 1/3 of the people agree, 1/3 completely disagree, and 1/3 don't give a damn either way.

Let me put it this way - they aren't to blame for their environment shaping them that way. We all are shaped by external influences growing up, it's human nature. To answer your question... All Natives can overcome those lifestyles. They haven't because no one has told them how. No one has because hardly anyone understands why they are in that condition, let alone how to overcome it.
