Why are the liberals so obsessed with limbaugh??? every time ridge veered into some generalities, king wanted him to pull back and comment specifically on rush limbaugh. that was theme for the entire left wing media was to have moderates like ridge and powell come on shows and denounce him. some did and some didnt but what it ended up doing was elevating rush to a whole different level and his audience grew even larger. the obsession with limbaugh is really counter productive to what they want

I agree... they need to be liberal on social issues and conservative on fiscal issues as opposed to the complete opposite. Only dicatorships are socially conservative and fiscally liberal. It's a turnoff. Less government - NOW.

see that attitude is what turns people away from conservatism and the republican party. i dont need the government to calibrate my moral compass. thats not what its there for. conservatives wanna tell the public how to live there lives and at the same time let big business do whatever the hell it wants. theres got to be a middle ground. the democrat and liberal said has just as many flaws. screw the 2 party system, get some good independents in there.
