The thought of anyone voluntarily starving themselves literally brings me to tears. If you need to lose weight then talk to your parents, doctors or anything but starving.

ellbeth121, thanks, it seems we are the only adults hitting this site. I dealt with anorexia from age 12 to 30. It's time to face it. this demon that causes young women to slowely commit suicide has afected every female at some point in there lives. And the evil just runs with it. Theese are kids out of control and theese thinsporation videos should be every bit as outlawed as videos that theach kids how to succesfully go in school and kill there schoolmates.

5: take theese damn cameras away from teenage girls so they'll stop using them to see how fat they are in places they can't see. None of theese girls who post pictures of themselves think that they are fat if they did they would never post pictures of themselves for all to see. 6: quit labeling Anorexia as a disease. It is not a disease it is an injury to there psyche. It's a habit out of control like other addictions.

The cure to anorexia is simple. 1: outlaw any publicized material that portrays underweight people as beautifull. 2: stop portraying overweight people as unworthy or discusting.3: always compliment kids and young adults on things that have nothing to do with there apearance. This will help there self esteem. 4:everyone needs to understand the sinsitivity of the female brain. Girls are by nature attraction seeking beings. God made us that way
