  • woah, I can't decide what's more gorgeous: Her beauty, her acting, her character or her accent. Oh, forget it, it's all STUNNING! Of course, I mean it's DAME MAGGIE SMITH and I LOVE HER <3

  • wtf happened to her awsome accent?!

  • @FamilyofMetal you're right it's gone oO I guess working in America is not good for her. ;)

  • She looks so beautiful! For a 75 yr old woman, she still does!

  • If ever an actor deserved the Oscar, it was Maggie Smith in The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie. I could listen to Maggie Smith talk about anything, all day. She, and Richard Dawkins, have the most mellifluously endearing voices, and accents, I have ever heard. I can listen to Mr. Dawkins talk about any subject: he is kind, wise, and utterly brilliant.

  • Wow she looks like Tilda Swinton or Tilda Swinton looks like a young Maggie Smith.

  • I'm a 24 year old young woman, and i think she's so lovely! I want her to be my girlfriend! I think i'm attracted to her!

There's someone in my life who reminds me of her a bit, and i like that = )

  • fuck, he's an appalling interviewer...love her though for retaining her composure and being interesting.

  • seems like a good interviewer- he gets her talking, and does not interrupt her.

  • I went to Stratford in canada last year, and was in a theatre one night. Hung on the walls were images of actors in their prime in the roles they played in that very theatre. At the end of the hall, a huge image of Maggie Smith hung, with all the lights focussed on her. I stared at it for a moment (I really wasn't expecting to see her in a random Canadian theatre!) before deciding it was her, and she looked just beautiful. I was very excited to have been in the same theatre as her haha!

  • Yeah, she was in Shakespeare's Loves Labours Lost

  • OMG McGonagall in the 70's!

  • he looks like a dwarf

  • Maggie Smith is a very good actress indeed. She is convincing in what she does, what she says. A true talent!

  • OMG

  • Good heavens, but she took this interview seriously!

  • Great! Thanx for posting this little treasure!

  • oh she is so lovely [brian is weeeird] - thanks SO much for posting this!!!

  • Thanks a million for posting this!!! :D

  • Maggie really knows how to capture the attention of the viewer. I think if I went to see her in a play I wouldn't notice anything but her. She makes everything she says sound interesting. That's what makes a god actor.

  • What a TREASURE - thank you so much for finding this to share!!!

  • OMG thank you....I can't wait for the second part...

    Marvellous Maggie!
