It's considered good technique to keep your foot held down on the bass pedal and keep the beater on the head between hits. On a real kit it keeps the drum from resonating and creates a better sound.

That are the sounds from the drums you are hearing, I am playing along to the song through my MP3 player.....so that the sounds from the drums and the original song comes together. Then I connect them to my DV-cam.

Tell me please, when you play the drums the noise that is coming out does you cause any problems with the neighbors? I mean can you play the drums without being stressed that you produce noise? I am guitarist, but I liked your cover. thnx!

I have only got complaints once, since I began playing on my V-drums (got them around New years- 07/08) Of course they are noisy.....but the set sets with meshheads (almost like real drumheads) are less noisy......but alot more expensive.

But if you play during the day, then I don´t think that you will couse so much distubens to your neibourghs.

yeah i have this kit, it has a cable that you can plug your ipod into so you can play along, it just comes out the headphones as the drums do. you can also record your drum noises into the computer wit a cable x

is it possible to "bury the beater" as they call it? Like hit the drum pedal and keep the beater against the pad without it going off over and over?

Yes, but not in the way that Jazz drummers do (to get a more damped sound). I don´t think thats possible on these cheaper modules, maybe on the TD-10,TD-12 and TD-20.

Could you list the sound settings (instrument #)you used for the toms, cymbals, snare etc? It sounds awesome! I have the same kit and I am in the process of learning that song.

I use the "Power" toms.....and after that, my memory goes black :(. I like to change my settings to fit the songs I´m playing....but i think that I had the number 5 kickdrum, Hi-hat 1 & 2, crash 7 and ride 3 on the Ridecymbal.....And C3 on the Ambiense settings.

I'm looking at buying the TD-3KW, but the only thing stopping me is the price tag. I've watched your videos and the sound seems to be pretty decent for V-drums, but is it good value for money?

I think it´s worth the money.....see it as an investment. You can alway upgrade the kit with a better module in the future......will last for years :D!!

My xtra cymbal is the Cy-12, bought a better one, more realistic feel in that cymbal.

There are 9 ports in this console.....I´ve fully upgraded my kit now.

I think it´s ok, but the VH-11 and VH-12 are way better. The FD-8 is good for the simpler moduls.....like the the 3,6 and 9.
