They played at the opening of the Hard Rock Hotel in 1995. I worked there and was assigned to be Simon's bodyguard. He had a hot model chick with him, but at the end of the night, I walked them to his suite, and found out they had separate suites. His model girlfriend went back downstairs with me, and told me Simon was gay, and she was just for show. My wife got mad when I told her- that he was gay- not about the girl being with me.

No, not a good day. However, the next day, after BEGGING my husband to take me to the hospital in Vegas, and him just saying I wasn't THAT sick...HE came down with it. I HAD TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK TO UTAH, stopping every now and then to be sick on the side of the road, while he whined and moaned the entire way home. Waa Waa Waa. I drove MYSELF to the hospital in Utah, and he drove his poor tummy home 14 miles away. WOMAN ARE THE STRONGER SEX.. But, otherwise, a fabulous day!

This was my day from HELL!!!! Get VIP tickets, drive all the way from Utah it's 109 degrees and I'm 7 1/2 months pregnant, and I get the stomach flu from HELL on the way down. Was SOOOO sick only saw about 20 minutes of the show total, then cried the rest of the night in my hotel bathroom. Oh, and the husband mentions they were IN THE POOL earlier that day and he didn't tell me coz he knew I'd crawl there to see it! I drove home with contractions and was hospitalized for over two weeks. So sad.

I was there!!! This was only the 4th show in the US since the reunion. Simon's voice wasn't 100% that night. But even on his worst night he's still better than many singers on their best night.

Amen! This is how the sound and lineup should be but I guess Andy was too hard to work with for the rest of the band. Too bad man he is a great guitarist. Most things dont quite work as well without the original when it comes to music, ya know?
