The more I listen to these guy's commentating, the more I think to myself "why are they commentators, if they can't do something called being unbiased". I'm sure Gootecks is American, however I am unsure about Paul, and I can tell that simply by the commentary done by these fantards. Gootecks is a good player no doubt, but he did get shut out by a better player it seems.

I hate that the Tiger knee knocks you almost a full screen away, ex tiger shot knocks you the hell back, his throws knock you the hell back. Then you have to safely get close and stay close which still is dangerous.

There are plenty of good players out there who play sagat... iloveu joe, and somuchdamage are two good examples. Also, chun was a top tier character in 3rd strike and everyone was playing her, even justin wong.

You're probably right about why some people don't pick him, but the point is, plenty of very good players pick sagat and get beat by better players using lower tier characters, just like has happened in any other game. He's not broken, people just like to complain.

My comment was just a reply to h2king saying all it takes to be good is his little sagat flow chart. We all know there's a tier list and that sagat is one of the top characters. But when you are playing people who are actually good, there is no way you can get away with playing a stupid flowchart sagat and get far. You are definitely not going to beat people who are genuinely better than you, even if they are using lower tier characters.

Paul and Gootecks are amazing players. Im lucky to be able to play with them on a regular basis. Gootecks, Ron, Combofiend, and myself all play Balrog but all of us are sooo different. I super and ultra through every fireball that comes my way lol.

Gootecks didn't deserve the win if he couldn't get past the Tiger Shots. It's not like Boxer has anything cool anyways. EX Upper loop (seldom), cr. jab-> cr. short-> headbutt xx ultra is pretty much all he does in tourneys. Unless the Boxer player is Keno, that is.
