@Negisenseifangirl It's one of my favorite FF games as well.. although I got stuck, and never got past, the portion just after all the missiles go flying, the SeeD base is flying along, and you have to fight that boss with the different colors signifying what to hit him with on-board the base... you know the one?

@CerberusSoul4ever I somewhat agree with you. Mind you, these guys are still good. However, the best orchestra IMO to play FF music is the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra. There's only fancam videos available of their concerts, but wow, they sound perfect in those.

I do agree with you that there was a ton of FFVII pieces, but I think the reason for that is because FFVII played more on the emotions, and the music from that game played a key part, thus more.

Disappointed that in the end they didn't play the ending theme for FFX though.

I disagree with you there. Since Final Fantasy IV, the music was composed almost solely to play on the emotions of certain scenes. Sure, VII did have some really emotional parts such as Aerith's death and playing her theme during the fight against Jenova-LIFE but that is no way different to the music it plays whilst in the Zanarkand Ruins in X or when Zidane believes he was created to destroy in IX.

Not here to argue, but FFVII is the most popular and higest selling that doesn't make it the best. FFVII was the first FF for the Playstation. It was highly advertised and inspired a generation of gamers. I loved it.

All that being said, FF6 for the SNES is still my favorite. It was the most epic in scale.
