The same reason why thousands of Canadians and Americans live in both the west and east coast of Mexico. I have a place in Mexico City myself and I'm from Vancouver BC. My mother in law lives in Cancun so I get a place to crash there anytime, and I vacation on the west coast too. Think of Mexico as Los Angeles except that Los Angeles has more Mexicans living there...LOL! Seriously, dude, latino's will be the majority in 15 years time in the USA. California is MEXICO!

Hahahaha, of course not. They live in turistic zones or big cities, where the money is it.. But obviosly most of them are rich bussinesmen and Entrepreneurs or employers who work for them. A professional in nursery is well paid almost in any place, the thing here in Mex, is that most of time you should have a professional career to have a good income.

It's hard to explain why we live there. My extended family is well off and all the friends we have in Mexico are living very comfortable lives. The economy is where the money is found....in Canada and the USA there are 17% who are unemployed (lack of full time employment)...you don't do business with them but go to the people who have money. it's the same in Mexico. The richest man in the world is Mexican.

Condesa. You know, my family and friends were shocked I was going the first time telling me it's all filth and crime plagued. When I was landing there in the evening the first time I was freaked out wondering how I got myself into this but as we weaved in through the city I could smell pollution and see graffiti everywhere - suddenly like in a movie scene it all changed. The streets looked more like a modern metropolitan city with Herme's and Starbucks and glass high-rises. Well dressed people..
