  • wow thats nowhere near what howards patents illustrate.. your stator magnet's N and S have to interact with the rotor magnets N and S in unison. you need the rotor magnets aligned so their null is not being affected by the stator

  • why not slant the magnets down so that the gate is weaker?

  • you moved all magnets but you forgot to move the main one

  • Now you have one big round magnet, put then close together and they act as one,

sorry kid this will not ever work

  • Oh Hum, another multi-magnetic lock-up device. Please contact me when you get your device down to "one lock-up-per 380 degrees of rotation" then we'll talk.

Why build something you can see in your mind it doesn't and won't work....please people let get these magnetic movements up to 380 degrees of rotation and one lock-up zone at minimum.

  • Look smart people " cough" Magnets are not like a water hose squirting water that could be could be caught on a paddle wheel which is what you are trying to do. Since magnets also attract it cant work. This is 269 years of failure.

Doing something over and over that cant work is when you need counseling.

  • You don't have the asymetry - that is causing the cogging.

  • Sterling...trust me you may get rotation with this type of configuration as Mylow has done, however it will not allow you to get usable torque. You will be invited to my working prototype that will produce 46.56KW rated at 25KW...keep your schedule open around the 1st two weeks of July.

  • "Sterling...trust me you may get rotation with this type of configuration as Mylow has done...."

    "Sterling" is "mylow," idiot.

  • You are missing the back stator magnet

  • die aceton dose steht zu nah am rotor.Sie ist sicher aus stahl und wird vom magnetfeld angezogen.Stell sie weiter weg.

  • On your website you say that the disk is supposed to be 2024 T3 ALCLAD. The problem I'm having is that I cannot find Alclad 2024 thicker than 0.125 inch. So I used 6061-T6 for my disk. Is it possible that MyLOW's disk is in fact not 2024, as the peswiki site claims, but actually 6061 alloy?

  • I applaud your efforts to do at least some control experiments. The proper control experiment is to remove the stator magnet completely, and compare rundown times with and without the stator magnet, either from a fixed RPM or using a weight-drop as I have done. At least 10 trials should be done in each condition. If you can actually repeat the condition where the disk runs longer with the stator installed, that will be a significant result. Otherwise, the whole thing is a wild goose chase.

  • I agree Sterling, Mylow's intuition on field arrangements is above par and would be considered a gift. I am still trying to work out the physics behind his phenomenon - he certainly has a unique combo of angular momentum and dynamic field interaction. As professor Lewin at MIT pointed out, dynamic fields are no longer constrained to conservative action although nature has a way bringing those nonconservative parts back together...usually. I think Mylow's may actually be thermocoupling a bit.

  • It seems that giant invisible rabbits sometimes must be chewing on the wrong shrubbery...MyLOW's got a gift all right, but it has nothing to do with field arrangements.

  • Sterling, If you cannot make this work why you are selling the design. Dont you know its a crime?

  • We state that no one has yet been able to replicate it that we know of.

  • "Sterling presents a concise and clear set of instructions of how to build a working all-magnet motor as described by Mylow, who is the first person we know of who has replicated Howard Johnsons Stonehenge model from three decades ago."

From the PESwiki site. Claims that the instructions are for a WORKING ALL_MAGNET MOTOR.

This statement says that the plans that you have for sale are for a working magnet motor. This is clearly a lie, as nobody has built a working magnet motor from these plans.

  • Thanks for pointing out that this wording is problematic. I've changed it to "(hopefully) ". So it reads: A concise and clear set of instructions of how to build a (hopefully) working all-magnet motor as described by Mylow, who is the first person we know of who has replicated Howard Johnsons Stonehenge model from three decades ago. This document is an adjunct to the open source project at MylowMagnetMotor . com, where the plans may be found, though not as concise or clear as here. - Sterling

  • your sets of rotor mags are spaced too far apart, you'll notice the jerky action as the rotor mags pass the stator mag, also your stator mag legs are too far apart n & s. the rotor mags have to pass the stator mag very smoothly to gain enough momentum to the next set of mags, moment is the key to this thing working.

  • Thanks for sharing this with us Sterling. You sure have put alot of effort into this one.

  • If you experimenters ever actually tried to understand how magnets really and truly worked you would understand that the arrangement of magnets on the rotor doesn't matter. I have posted the true explanation for this several times but the believers ignore it. None of the replicators will ever get something working. All that wasted time and energy and money for absolutely nothing.

  • If you are going to copy mylow motor you have to do it right.

You need a air blower. That is how you make it spin, blow air on one side. You have to do it just like mylow did or it will never work.

  • Can't be air blower. The lamp next to the motor has beads dangling down, unperturbed.

  • So what do think made it turn, Magnets ?

Mylow himself said it was a fake. You don't believe him ?

You can buy the "PLANS" for it online for $25.

Of course the magnets he used are no longer in production.

So when you can't get it to work, it is because you don't have the right magnets.

So, if it looks like a Scam, sounds like a Scam,

Maybe, just maybe, it is a Scam.

  • Due to all of the negativity, he was being sarcastic when he said it was a fake. We're getting closer to finding a match to his magnets.

  • "We're getting closer to finding a match to his magnets."

So you are saying, Your still looking for magnets that work.

People have been looking for them for 100 years.

What is in the $25. plans your selling ?

  • Can't be air blower. The lamp next to the motor has beads dangling down, unperturbed.

  • You have 360 degrees, mylow (oops I mean sterling) to direct the air.

In your next fake you should sprinkle little bits of paper all over the magic wheel.

  • Why do you call everyone idiot? You would probably get a much better response if you had an ounce of respect for your fellow human beings who are trying to make this world a better place for all of us...The only air blowing is coming from you,..Desertpile.

  • "Why do you call everyone idiot?"

I only call idiots "idiots." Adults believing in magic are idiots.

  • Oops watched the rest of the vid, disregard my last comment. Carry on!

  • Looks like you're still using a full rotor space between the rotors. Mylow's spacing is 1/2 - 1/3 rotor width.

Queue finally tightened the spacing and is seeing preliminary results.

  • Nice. I'd toy around with the height of the stator magnet (in respect to the stator aluminium bar).

  • it needs to be exactly the same as mylows

  • its not the same as mylows everything that is in plastic needs to be made of aluminium

aluminium as serious effect on a magnetic field try throwing a magnet down an aluminium tube and see for yourself it looses weight and slows down.

    this motor will never work

  • yes, aluminium should slow the interaction down ;-)
