Really sucks that in order to get into the cage, you have to jump into the water and swim into it once a shark arrives.

I reckon the hard part would be leaping into the water and scrambling into a tube with a great white waiting, than to be in the tube itself.

Wow the shark is unusually interested in the diver! Did they drop lots of blood in the water or why is the Great white so aggressive? Normally they won't try to bite on the person, they just look around until they realize that the person is out of bounds or that it is not edible.

Um, no they don't. Piranhas and barracudas do the same thing, just as often as the big four. There are only four species of sharks to have attacked humans resulting in the human's death in any significant number. All four of these species have been successfully filmed in open water by unprotected divers. You are basing your opinion of them purely on myth. You should actually do some research. Sharks are fascinating creatures.

In fact scientists have studied behavior of piranhas and found them not to be dangerous to humans. It looks like you need a little research instead of talking out of your ass. I did. You stated that sharks "rip into pieces and consume way more than others." They do not, in fact rip their prey into pieces "way more than others." Barracudas and piranhas rip their prey to pieces as well. Now, once again, most sharks do not attack humans at all, and this includes many of the big ones. By the way, there ARE at least two documented fatalities caused by barracudas and piranhas are certainly capable if you're bleeding in the water.

I am not saying that piranhas or barracudas live up to the hype, but neither do sharks, not by a long shot. Also, your claim that "scientists have studied behavior of piranhas and found them not to be dangerous to humans" is an exaggeration, because there have been attacks, just not many. But once again, there aren't many shark attacks either. You have a better chance of being killed by lightning/a vending machine/a cow/a pet dog than even being attacked by a shark.

I can agree with most of that. But my original point was that when sharks do happen to attack, the results are typically gruesome and sever. Not too many fish can tear your torso into pieces with just one bite. So despite the chances being slim, people have the right to be afraid.

BULLSIT. Sharks attack a hell of a lot more than cuddas and much more than Piranhas ever have. True it is mostly the 4 species doing most of the maiming and killing but it is happening a lot. We just had a kite surfer killed here who wasn't bleeding/thrashing or with bait in the water and he's now dead. A week later 200 miles south a fisherman had his leg ripped off. You need to do the research not fly off the hip with bias tree hugger bullshit.

Most people don't know this, but 90% of the world's shark population has been eliminated, partly from shark finning, partly from pollution, partly from long-line fishing, and partly because people kill them on sight just based on perception.
