They should've had Spider-Man from 2099 be part of this group and a Spider-Man with the black symbiot costume as well. The black costumed Spider-Man would say that he has full control over the symbiot, you just have to have your thoughts and emotions straight. No doubt the metal Spider-Man would say that they must've won since SpiderMan from 2099 is here. Spiderman 2099 would tell metal Spiderman, that that's flawless logic, except in his time, there's NO history record of this battle, at all!

Also, the point was to show off various alternative versions of Spider-Man and they already had one Spider-Man in the middle of a story arc Peter had already been in. Having another would have been overkill. Speaking of Six-Armed Spidey, it would have been interesting if this version transformed into the Doppelganger instead of the Man-Spider.

He was supposed to look as old as the Peter Parker from Spider-Girl comics. Metal Spidey would say that if he's alive, they must've won.
