  • cool.. thanks for clearing that up, the blood looked cool how did u do that or is that a well-kept secret

  • It's a simple recipe.

    -Corn Syrup

    -Red Food Coloring

    -Blue Food Coloring

    -Coco Baking Powder

    -Water (optional)

Coco baking powder helps darken the mix and thicken the consistency. Corn Syrup and food coloring alone looks too transparent. So mix corn syrup and a few drops of red food coloring first (for about a half a bowl worth of blood). Drop in a table spoon of Coco powder. Add 1 drop of blue food coloring. Add more red til it's the color you want. Water thins the mix a little if you want.

  • hi,

Really loved this first part it was so realistic it almost looked like a snuff movie! I liked the limited use of dialouge, u leave the horror of the setting to speak for itself.. classy. Anyway.. could you asnwer one question please, what is the modern day ripper's back story? cus u never truly explained why you brought the ripper story into modern day?

  • Thank you. Yeah, this was more of a drama with Horror elements, and I wanted to make sure that this didn't fall too far into the realm of a slasher film. I like slasher films, but that's not what this film is about. Glad it worked.

The Ripper storyline did get lost a bit, which is something I really didn't notice until after the film was made. The reason being is that this film is really about Paige, so I glossed the Ripper stuff. But the killer, Mark, is a copycat killer, not really Jack.

  • aha i really really liked this! just a question? u mentioned music on my video, where did you get yours from?

  • Search -- Incompetech (using Google)

Search -- audionautix (here on Youtube)

All the music in my film came from Kevin MacLeod (Incompetech), except for the opening song, which I made in Garage Band (Mac only program), and the 2 Rock/Metal songs I licensed from a Metal band from downstate New York, in which my friend is the lead guitarist.

  • aha, complement your friends band for me! an thanks once again

  • I will. And no problem.
