The light is real, u merge into it, like come together, its white, not bright. It is warm, relaxing, free & peaceful. Just beautiful. U can move what feels like your sholders any angel, cause I remember thinking, what the fuck as I was rising from nothing & I wiggled abit, It was like moving in water, felt light, creeped me abit. I don't understand why I never looked behind me, as I was lying on my back going up :) x

Hi Rene, I appreciate the way you so eloquently express yourself and your understanding of life after death. I too have a fascination with this subject. My question is how do you explain Jesus' claim that he is the way, the truth and the life and that no one can come to the father but by him? You say you believe in "many" paths including your references to Christ and the Bible, yet doesn't Jesus' claim of being the one true teacher contradict your pluralistic beliefs?

@wsmajors1 We can and should question the way to understand these words as well as the words of any religion. Remember there are many Christian churches who do not agree. You can read this line literally but you can also understand it symbolically or metaphoracally. Then you can also go deeper in your understanding of what "through me" in John 14:6 means. If you keep on reading in John 14:10 Jesus says that the Father is "in him" and later in 14:17 he says that he is "in you" as well.

You can read "through me" as through the Father "in" Jesus that is also "in you." This is why the Bible tells us that God, the Kingdom and the Spirit of Truth dwells within. And if you read 1 Cor. 1:6 - 13 "We speak a message of wisdom among the mature...not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words" - then you can begin to see the Bible in a whole new light and get away from literal fundamentalist interpretation.

@NearDeathAwakening I have decided there is a twofold structure in religion, the man part and the light part. i have read the old test and theres war and killings in the new test theres the concept of hell not spoken of in the old - these are essentially fear based negative concepts and i for one dont understand how people can worship these doctrines and say the are the word of God, perhaps partly, these testimonies here seem more hopeful

Your videos are amazing! You know, what you talk about regarding NDEs reminds me of my videos on meditation. I believe by consciously slowing the mind to a crawl you are able to merge a bit closer with "the light" and what comes after physical death. These instances of merging and some not merging might draw an interesting parallel with the concept of Heaven and Hell - those who did not merge might simply vanish, or maybe merge with darkness (the oposite), which could be associated with Hell.

Glad you like it and yes I think the Tibetans have got it right: mind and light are one. Not sure what is outside this ultimate reality - maybe lower/other levels of reality but yes the separation is Hell and the ultimate reality is our true nature: mind. Spirit in Greek = soul AND "mind," "consciousness."

Light is within the soul. Though many Scientist dont know the secrets of the mind. Many Scientist around the world think that Mind comes within the brain. As I mentioned in my previous statement. Though it is a theory. In my perspective mind is connected with the soul. Not the brain.

Yes. Google "spirit" in Greek and you will find that besides soul it also means "mind.".In my dictionary I also have "consciousness" and when we remember that the Bible was written in Greek it gives new meaning not only to soul but also to Holy Spirit.

hi rene! great post, as always. i was wondering if you had feelings of separation because there was a life review occuring. or did you still feel the love so much but just the quality changed during that event? lately i've been thinking about how self-judgement can affect the frequency i emanate (how i like to say it) and any outside affects of that, i believe, start inside. curious about your thoughts an that concept, especially related to an NDE. i'll send a clip - it reminds me of this.
